- Moving to Sacramento? Sure, it's hot, but here are some pros and cons of living in Sacramento California if you're trying to familiarize yourself with this great city! #movingtosacramento #sacramento #livinginsacramento #sacramentorealestate #sacramentorealtor
I feel blessed to live in the Sacramento, CA area, so I am sharing my experience with people what I love and not-so-love about this area. I'm a Realtor® in the greater Sacramento area (Sacramento, Placer, Yolo Counties). I believe in the American dream of home-ownership. A home can be a great source of happiness and an investment to help build family wealth. I enjoy working with first time home buyers, empty nesters like me and investors.
I go over 5 pros and "some" 3 cons of living in Sacramento. Somewhere a long the way I got my numbering mixed up, but there are way more pros than cons and I could've thought of even more pros, but I'll leave that for another video!
I've been married for over 30 years and have two great children. My husband is a teacher in the Elk Grove School District. We love to boat in the rivers and nearby lakes and you’ll often see us walking our dog!

Hi, good video. How are all the rivers been lately from the droughts, are they getting to low levels or about normal?
For the Sacramento River, it seems to be about a normal level for this time of year. Haven't been on the American River yet.
When you say Sac gets all 4 seasons, how bad is the winter? Does it snow? How long do the winters last?
I'm from WI and the 7 months of cold weather affects my happiness & the snow shoveling and driving in it zaps my energy. ☹️☹️
Our winters are mild compared to the mid west! It doesn't really freeze and there's no snow. It starts cooling off in December in the 50's during the day and 40's to high 30's at night. By 4 seasons, the leaves change color and fall of trees. 😊 It does get hot though! Starting in the 80's in May, 90's in June, 100's in July and August and then goes back down from there!
