When I tell you my jaw hit the floor when I saw how many stuff in the trash I had. I could scroll for like a 45 seconds until reaching the bottom. It runs smooth as butter now
I do exactly all the things you're doing! I always flatten my PDFs and reload them. I'm only keeping about 3 months at a time because I love lots of stickers and pictures. Then I get the whole year printed in a photobook!
Stickers and pictures are what MAKE a spread for me! Photobooks are something I've considered but haven't implemented yet since I don't really ever look at my old EC planners unless I need a piece of info. Did you print your 2019??
I know they released an update that is supposed to correct crashing upon opening last week. With COVID they are way behind on emails but I find them to be really quick to reply on Twitter. Maybe try reaching out to them there? Be sure to include your device, OS and GN versions, and the problem you're having to avoid multiple messages that can be answered in just one with all the info provided.
I am so confused my good notes is not crashing ore anything but random strokes just appear on my paper and I have no idea why and I’m so confused help anyone ?
If I’d known this, I wouldn’t have spent money on this app 😭 I can’t open it at all right now, I’ve updated iPadOS, the app itself and even rebooted the iPad but I still can’t open it. I have 10+ more free storage. If it happens again while I’m answering exams on the app, I’m seriously gonna die. I didn’t pay for something like that to happen.
@@genevievemazer I agree, it’s actually a great app, I might have overreacted, because I was just frustrated and was in a time crunch at that time 😅 I’ll try to follow your tips now that I’m able to open it, so hopefully it won’t happen again. Thank you for sharing the tips 😽 and thanks, I didn’t expect to find someone who knew furret here 😆
Please can you show us a) how to flatten a pdf file and export it and b) how to combine a newly flattened pdf file with the one for the previous 3 months?
I used a 2018 pro for a year and a half with zero problems with Goodnotes. If you have gigantic files you might see a pause as the pages load but if your files are decent size you’ll have no problems. 🖤
Hi! So if it’s crashing I will just have to wait until the app let me use it bc I have tried twice offloading the app and it didn’t work :( and I don’t know what else to do please help me!!
I have the same problem! Since 2 days the app won’t even open. Just crashes immediately. I also tried to offload the app several times but it didn’t resolve the issue...
@@kristinamatt1293 I contacted GoodNotes through Twitter and they answer me in less than 24 hours and the only thing I had to do was to upgrade my iOS and then I proceed to apply the tips I watched here

yhhhhhh !!!!!! ..... Me toooo :D :D :D
Omg, I had no idea goodnotes has a trash bin! I had sooo many files in there, I hope this helps. Thank you!
The first time I learned about that I literally had like 200 things in the bin!!!
Recently my goodnotes won't let me play my audio in full and keep on crashing in between. I don't know what's the problem😢

What should I do if my color palette won’t allow to switch colors ?
Good notes support just said I did not have enough Ram memory, that is not them problem. It so sad.
Try saving goodnotes format in files if u dont have iCloud space if u don’t want to flatten them.
I don‘t know, what too do, i can‘t Open it too, after looking this

Do you have a stylus assigned in the app? You can go in and turn on "stylus only" options.

It really does seem to be a crap shoot on who experiences the problems. I haven’t had near the issues others have 😞
But I gotta say - I love your furret avatar 😍

It’s easy to make a frustration judgment when you’re under the gun to get something accomplished! I hope it smooths out for you!

Certainly!
Hi
What do you mean exatly by crashing?
Cause I got an issue when scrolling whith big books, is this considered crashing?
crashing means that the app closes when you don't close it yourself
I have 2020 ipad pro and still it crashes sometime more than 5 times a day
How big is your goodnotes app? You can check in your storage settings.
Does 2018 Pros crash on good notes ? I have ipad 8 with 3GB and it crashes. I need a new iPad. Thanks. Hope your answer.

If I export my planner as a pdf do the links keep working?
They do not. Flattening a PDF makes it a read-only document.
I actually tried to delete the trash on the app and that was when it crashed. I already tried everything but the app simply doesn´t open anymore..
I know they just released a new update yesterday. I wonder if its something to do with that
