- We had no clue this camp even existed but were are glad to know about it it now. Welcome to Mara Napa Luxury Camp located just outside the Talek Gate of the Masai Mara National reserve.

For our stay at Mara Napa, we had the chance to settle down in the Lion Tent, they most premium accommodation that comes with two beds, an outdoor bath and double showers and even its own tree house that doubles as a second room and also a great location to relax and enjoy a sundowner.
Just in case you like a nice pool while staying at a safari camp, they are working on a very nice one, coming up soon. Personally, we rarely use pools at camps as we are normally too busy going on game drives, eating and sleeping.

Wow, great video about your experiences at the Safari camp in Kenya. The camp is really beautiful and luxurious. It is amazing that you have all of that luxury in the middle of a safari park. The wildlife footage was all amazing and was hoping you had some footage of the Hippos feeding in the morning. The music accompanying the Campfire at night and the drone footage was really incredible. It seems like you had the whole place to yourselves and that must have been very special. Great advertising and wish the park much success when it is all finished.

How are you capturing drone footage in the mara when drones are illegal in Kenya?
Drones are not illegal but Kenya makes it almost impossible to operate for sure.
You have to registered the drone with KCAA which is a nightmare and you need to get a drone license and Kenya only recognize the ones done in country. I had to do a 2 week long course that cost $1500 and complete a full medical as well.
For the national park, filming there is very complicated and expensive and takes a lot of permissions.
The footage you saw in this video was taken just outside the national reserve on private property.

You spoke my mind. But I feel it’s what the camp wants not the government. They will just do anything to attract visitors. The same goes to Maasais. They want tips from the visitors. I used to like it back then but now I don’t see the reason why should always be there for entertainment! Who wants the entertainment while their target is to see the animals? Wanatumiwa vibaya na hizi camps.
