I've been using my Series 4 Aluminum since 2018. Everything still works flawless today, even though I've abused it in every way possible. I'm surprised the glass still holds after soo many hard impacts. I'm also glad I chose the cheaper one, instead of the stainless steel series 4.

The Apple band fanatics are going to be really pissed if Apple changes the band mechanism. Lots of people spent hundreds on bands over time. Something tells me Apple won’t change it though. I also think the design won’t change that much. They might ad an action button for regular model and increase brightness and display size but that’s it. No way they’ll do a complete redesign.

I wonder if any thought has ever been given to making the watch wider without making it taller. In other words, why does it have to be square? A couple millimeters on either side would add some screen space without a lot of bulk, or it seems to me.

Best the Apple Watch X should have is the ability to connect to a Continuous Glucose Monitor via Bluetooth.
First version will be a requested sample, that is User Requests a Sample thus not replace the Continuous Glucose Monitor.
Second should be a requested continuous Sample, so when transitioning between sensors the Watch can fill in the gap while the monitor calibrates.
Third is the Continuous Monitor, this and the above will be from Battery Lifespan extension so that when the feature is enabled the watch will last the required one to even better two day or more running time with the feature enabled. One issue will be how to recharge while being on your wrist and continue the monitoring.

The way he’s speaking you can tell he is reading a script, not wrote by him. Anybody with common sense knows they are changing the band to sell more bands, which means your old ones will have to be thrown away and that’s not very eco-friendly. But hey Apple needs your money.

I don’t know about you guys, but I got the SE2 and I tell you this: it’s just great! It offers me EVERY single basic feature that ANY other AW can do. I personally don’t need oxygen, blood measure and other specific health stuff.. I’d rather go to a doctor to get a more precise result for these sort of exams. I only use it to stay tuned with notifications, workout, run, and check the time throughout the day. I have the midnight color, and it looks like I’m wearing a AW8 or 9. Battery life is great too, it lasts me almost 2 days. I had AW5 and I don’t care about always on display, it drains battery a lot faster. That’s my opinion. Higlhy recommend it to those normal users like me.

Is it just me or does it sound like he’s reading the script and one wrote for him? Apple is replacing the bands so you can’t use your old bands and you will buy more new bands which in return makes them more money. Magnetic bands, how come it seems like this will be kind of like the fine woven cases which should’ve never been built.

This watch is going to be part of the "Series" line (Ex. Series 7, Series 9). The Ultra Line will still trump the watch simply due to "Size." I would not wait for this watch. I would just go about getting the Ultra/Ultra 2. Even the additional space that is saved by the new magnetic band feature, will not make the case 49mm like the Ultra. Anything that they can do on this device has already been implemented in the Apple Watch Ultra line for only $799. They are not going to achieve the glucose monitoring on this watch. Apple has not "Invented" anything in the past decade practically. This technology has not been formally recognized as successfully implemented in a single watch entirely. So, in summary save yourself the headache and just buy the Ultra/Ultra 2.
