Hi, my name is Tina and I have DIY delusion. I ALWAYS see the potential in everything and think I can save every piece that’s destined to be trashed-whether it’s something that’s out of style, maybe it’s too tacky, if the price is right, I WILL buy it, and it will probably sit on my TO-BE-DIY-ed pile until I come around to it. Today, we’re going to tackle some of those items and I’m going to show you different ideas to transform and save them from being thrown out. And these are also ideas you can do to your items at home that maybe you just don’t love anymore, there is a way to DIY it!

Hey Tina, the candle sconce turned out beautifully! Tip, your polymer clay will come out easier and better if you use corn starch or baby powder to dust your mold inside first, using a soft paint brush to apply it. You will be amazed at the difference it makes in filling and demolding.
The sunset lamp is cool as well! Keep up the great work! ❤

I live for these kind of videos 😍 The lamp does look quite a bit better now and I love the light that it gives but my favourite is the candle holder 😍 I’m a sucker for anything golden and it looks perfect! 🫶🏻
Adding a light dusting of corn starch to your mold will help when removing clay etc 😊
Tina, if you will dust the mould with cornstarch before adding the product, it will release much easier.

Oh wow Tina, you are great at your DIY projects. I really thought that first one was so pretty, repainting and then creating those edges with that plaster making it look like decor you place on cakes and all of the extra decorations you added and then made it a jewelry box to hold rings and things, I also really loved that dish that you made into that candle holder that turned out so beautiful, that last one you created was very unique and fun.Thanks again for sharing another great video that I had a lot of fun watching, have a great rest of your weekend and enjoy your Memorial Day. You can put the mold in the freezer so it gets colder and easier to get out of the mold. :) worth trying if it works with that mold.
I hope you share more of these kinds of DIYs because it encourages people to get creative with what they have on hand. I think too many videos try to get people to BUY trendy things instead of making things we like.
EDIT: When I finally organize my space I'm gonna need to make a jewelry box like that flower. It's so cute.

Dust the mold with cornstarch powder first.

I just picked up 4 chairs from a lady 45 min out side of towns barn. 2 are 1930’s with the straight bars in the back. And the other 2 were 1970’s the wood is weathered. My boyfriend thinks I’m crazy. But it’s wood. Just sand and stain.

Cornstarch in the mold helps the clay to release easily.

The small size of your DIY stash shows your self-discipline. I suspect that generally, you stock up for particular projects- money and space-saving. That lamp was very clever, and your "cake" was so fun, especially for the younger set.

I loved the candle sconce the most! Hopefully, it isn't lit though, because I worry the spray paint and rub n buff may be flammable still. Those are not toxins to want in your home exposed to flames.

Some you tubers use a lite dusting of powder to help get items out of molds.😊😊❤❤ great job

If you put your mold in freezer for a couple min. It will make getting it out easier and won't break as easy hope this helps in future
the sunset lamp was cool! the cake box was a no for me it looked like something a kindergartner made, just way too juvenile for my taste.

Earth breeze is terrible. Used it in my brand new washer and they don't dissolve and then it sticks to your clothes and it's not made on the USA!
