  • Theres a tripod for any kind of photography workflow and it is important to find the right one for you. However, for photographers who use their gear in a wide variety of applications, your all-in-one tripod must be ultra reliable.
The Benro Rhino is perhaps one of the closest to perfect all-purpose tripods in the market. While there are still limitations to it, it fits a lot of the usual requirements of hybrid photographers.

I wonder if the Rhino also has a way to fix the head very firmly. Just screwing it at the tripod column by hand seems very risky, because it might become lose. Other tripods - even from Benro - have those three screws that allows you to fix the head in way that makes it impossible to unscrew it by accident. However I was not able to find out if the Rhino also has those three screws under the head plate. They are very essential.

Hi si nicco, in monopod, any idea how much weight can it take? I wonder if it can hold a full frame camera and a 150-600 telephoto lens

Hi Nicco, thanks for a very useful review. I'm going to purchase one of these I think, as it is on the sturdier end of a travel tripod as you indicated in your review, and the price point seems reasonable for a carbon tripod. I just wondered if you think I will be ok putting my Canon 5D IV on this tripod, along with a 24-105 L lens and possibly my 70-200 F4 L? You mentioned that it has two head sizes, would it matter which size head I used for my setup? Thanks for your great video.
    Colin

The 24C or 34C can definitely carry those. The bigger head has a heavier capacity in terms of how well it can hold when tilted up or down extremely but overall your setup can be carried by either of them.

@@NiccoValenzuelaPH Thanks Nicco, I will go for this setup. It seems any choice of tripod involves some sort of compromise, but the Rhino seems to meet most of my needs for a general purpose tripod that's not too heavy 👍
