Funny story.. Actually the Curry 2 is how I found Nightwing. I loved them but used to have crazy knee pain. I literally stumbled across this "performance review" and was blown away like.. people really do this, well back then he was one of if not the only one... Wanted to do it myself ever since I saw Chris do it.. been a fan ever since. Dope as always.💪🏿.. haven't gotten these yet though. Definitely going to.

i had the og curry 2 in the all stars colorway and were by far my favorite shoes ever. i sadly lost them while moving and still hope they magically appear somewhere in my house....
I like what they are doing with the flowtros and making slight changes to help better fit and perform with the newer tooling. Those lows look great!

I bought last few days in Footlockers here in Singapore,i like the material and the color blocking and most of all its very very very lightweight and very comfortable 😊

I got both, the Double Bang, and the Splash Party colorways, and love the looks, and fit. I get compliments every time I wear them. I just wear mine as a casual shoe, so I can’t comment on performance. I bought both of mine at the UA Outlet store, and paid less than what 1 pair cost at a retail store, so it’s a double win for me.
Hi chris! I played in the original 2.5's and those were great! I recently played in the curry 4 flowtro's and all i can say with the flowtro is that they are like ceramic disc brakes while the court is clean! I was tripping my self everytime on court hahaha. I like the flowtro stuff but i think ppl are getting bored with the flow tech because i see all the other youtubers complaining that its the same damn outsole ,😂😂😂
It’s definitely great, but agree with the design. They have to change the looks up - which they did here with the Curry 2 Flotro. Outsole is the same, but that’s performance so it doesn’t matter. The midsole design has finally changed so that’s what people want to see. More of what makes a signature shoe feel unique rather than another year with the same shoe.

I played in the original and the retro 2’s. The original 2’s were hard as rocks, gripped every court but very firm. Retros are much more forgiving and that was apparent on the first try on. But on the retros, the speedform upper dug into the back of my ankle where the originals didn’t have that issue. Despite the heel issue I love the shoes, the traction is always money!! Gr8 review
I found that they dug into the back of my heels as well. I need to put a bandage on whenever I wear them. That's my only negative for this shoe.

I'm a bigger guy and love the Curry line but 1&2 OGs fit so tight in the toe for me that I'm loving these retro/flowtro fits. I get the look is different but Chris is right much more forgiving of a fit.
Awesome video btw... Curry Brand is doing some cool things and it's underrated.
Also, I feel like this current era of players are playing at a high level longer than signature shoe players in the past. We have lebron and KD retros but they are 15 plus years in the league. Correct me if I'm wrong but not many players have been able to have 1)10 plus signature shoes and 2) play as long as Bron, KD and Curry.
Now that you have made this video. It made me realize I still don’t have any Curry shoe in my rotation. If not for the price I will cop right away. It’s so expensive here in PH

I love the look of these in this colourway 👍 I noticed today that these are now available in some suppliers in the UK and at about £114 which seems a great price. I'd buy these if I hadn't already just got the pink spawn 4 as they were a great price because the spawn 5 was just about to be released. The spawn 4's have excellent grip so I agree that these should have a great grip as well.
The Curry 2.5's STILL hold up man. All three pairs I have (Taxi's, Zebra, Blue & Black) the grip, insole etc....still damn near new and man I hoop like a psychopath. They are definitely mad durable. I hate what they did here with the toe as well. That traction on the 2.5s is the same I believe and I am a scuff walker and they ain't worn down hardly. If this thread is the same, I'm a def cop em'.

I’ve played in all those good traction shoes you mentioned in the video (except AJ1). I had almost worn out Air Panny 5 crimson orange almost 10 years ago, but it took me longer than most of other shoes. Another great traction shoe I would put in this list is Rose 1, so reliable, both indoor or outdoor. On the other hand, I feel Kobe 9 is way to far with the traction. Especially when I just started playing in them. Beautiful shoe, just too hot. Great video

I think it's great what they did with the lows, look amazing and implemented the flow cushion with the overall design. But man those curry 2 highs look even better. I'd like to know how the sizing of both is compared to the curry 3 which is the only curry model I own and the size is 11 US.
I loved the original, but my blue pair pretty much only lasted 5-6 months of indoor abuse before the lateral side started splitting.

I beat up my Curry 2 'iron sharpens iron' when I played in my league. I agree about the grip on court. Next i wanna try the flotro 2's on court. But if I get the giraffe pair I might just wear them casually.

Curious as to why they only did the Flotro on the low model of the 2.
Unpopular opinion: I like much more the old shape. Also been able to play them outside a bit is a plus for me. The flow thing gets obliterated in no time is you play on cement.

yeah I was skipping backward up the court and shit just stuck and fell straight on my ass mid game. luckily the pass didn't come yet. it was my first time playing in them. as a quick shifty guard I love the flow on my 10s 🤣🤣🤣

Hey Nightwing, since in previous performance reviews you wouldn’t play in shoes with the same tooling, IF you still did performance reviews would you not play in any Curry’s after the 8’s since the flow tooling is the same throughout all Curry’s now?
He would test them since they're part of the signature line, but they wouldn't need as much time dedicated towards them. Take downs with derivative tooling isn't worth reviewing based on views. If we can't make the money back that we spent on the product at the very least then it isn't worth while. Barely breaking even on product expenses means Chris and Jodi don't get paid for their work at all.
How would you compare Flotro Curry 2 and Curry 10? What is the difference?

The original felt like barely any cushion was used for court feel. The retro feels like a more neutral cushion but better than the original in the cushion aspect.
IMO, the curry line shoes use “curry own foot shape last” with a wide toe box rather than the previous models as Curry 4 and prior.

roomy toe boxes are healthier for feet in general.
My son has Curry 10's and the foam sole just doesn't hold up. It was worn and no longer gripped 2 months into his season. My advice, don't buy the flow shoes if you want something that will last.

Cop curry 2 flotro or curry 11?
The only good looking Curry shoe ever. Actually now that I think about it, this was the only good looking basketball shoe of the time period. I remember going on sneaker websites like ‘damn what happened to good design?’ (Along with the performance).
But I remember seeing the “ Suit and Tie” color way in Finish Line and being like ‘holup!!!!…….Under Armour made THESE?!?!”
I held them in my hand for a minute and even though I’m a Nike guy I legitimately thought about buying them. I know aesthetics are subjective but I’m unfortunately really a ‘you look good, you feel good’ type of person. These were/are sick.
