I am not a Jew but They have my admiration and consequently a degree of respect if for nothing other than their steadfast determination over thousands of years in the face of continuing oppression from many quarters. I would like someone to tell me what other civilisation has done the same and they seem to do it simply by applying disciplines to themselves then sticking to the script. Other cultures could do it if they had the character.

Did you mention occupation, blockading, military occupation, killing and maiming Palestinians in a right of return march, illegal settlements and unlawful removing of Palestinians from their homes? Bet you didn’t mention any of these things that lead to Oct 7th. These are the reasons as well as the international community doing nothing to Israeli Jews as to why HAMAS said themselves is why they attacked Israel. Take some responsibility as a Jewish person and the actions of other Jews against others. Israel is facing Genocide and illegal settlement charges at the ICJ. Speak up and against the actions of your own community if you are going to speak out against others. It does not make you a self hating Jew like other Jews are accused of for speaking up by the Jewish community.

Your attempt to draw a moral equivalency between Hamas terrorism and Israel’s self defense is reprehensible. Article 51 of the Charter of the United Nations states: Nothing in the present Charter shall impair the inherent right of individual or collective self-defense if an armed attack occurs against a Member of the United Nations.
Israel has the absolute right to defend itself against terrorists who intentionally murder civilians in light of Hamas' stated intent to commit October 7th atrocities again and again.
Israel does not intentionally target civilians. Israel targets terrorists. In accordance with international law Israel is engaged in a just war of self defense. Israel is fighting terrorists who intentionally target babies, women and civilians. International law states that collateral damage is an accepted consequence of warfare. The law of armed conflict (LOAC) permits soldiers to carry out attacks against military objectives with the knowledge that civilians will be killed, provided the attack is consistent with the requirements of the principle of proportionality.

@@yisroelroll2498the occupied have a legal right to resist. you mean occupation forces that kill people holding white flags don't target civilians? Heard of lavender ai? Where's daddy? Zionism is racist and ethno supremacist ideology. End apartheid and ethno supremacy. We are all equal human beings

@@yisroelroll2498even if you don't agree to live with the native people of the land like equal human beings and insist on ethno supremacy, if there actually is a Palestinian state then there's no reason for hamas to exist as they do now. It is easy to be racist and hateful.

Palestine membership in UN was vetoed by US, and medieval siege, killing people holding white flags, journalists, aid workers, medical staff is not self defense.

@@yisroelroll2498 You should have saved your time and not posted this comment Israel is facing genocide charges for a reason and they did everything I stated in my comment that lead to Oct. 7th. The only person trying to find moral equivalence is you. They don’t target civilians is a joke. You bomb a building from 1000 ft and never checked it for civilians or hostages is just one of a thousand examples I can give you.Tell those three unarmed half naked Israeli hostages waiving a white flag that Israel doesn’t target civilians. They were given HAMAS designation by Israel and no one else. You are not even attempting to address the occupation, military occupation, illegal settlements or killing unarmed Palestinians in a right or return march or blockading people who got sick and tired of being treated that way. Israel also propped up HAMAS. Take some responsibility instead of telling everyone else to. Israel is why Oct 7th happened.
