That's absurd because The Pit, including its name and base gameplay, was probably copied off the Minecraft server Hypixel, which has a gamemode called The Pit, in which you fall down a pit to fight others (And it's even more well developed there, with more complex systems for progression). And although I'm not entirely sure it's likely that the Hypixel The Pit was copied off somewhere else too.
How is that copyrightable? No one in the Fortnite community invented the concept.
Someone in another video said it was Hypixel's The Pit, but Hypixel never copyrighted it.
Yeah it got added in the prototype lobby february 26, 2018.

5:49 if you put yourself in a small 1x1 box with a roof whilst bouncing on a launchpad on sandbox it beats the AFK checker and you receive your EXP and levels as normal

Thanks! I’m definitely trying this later! Lego Fortnite has been so useful for me leveling up because I work a full time job now so I don’t have as much time to dedicate to the game in addition to my other hobbies.
The pit was a concept WIDELY popular before Fortnite, especially in Minecraft. Thinking he’s able to copyright it is absurd.
5:21 FYI in Lego, if you build a launch pad, and just have your character endlessly jump on it, the game game still counts it as moving, even if you’re AFK. My buddy and I have also found that you can just simply move around a bit every 15 minutes and it will give you XP.

Xp is easy this season, im level 80 and have played about 1-2 hours max a day, "CRAAZY RED VS BLUE" is very good for xp, 8k for 1 headshot snipe and 2k+ for a elim. Everyone on there is also bots so it's easy

I can’t believe they made that much money from their map, but greed is going to make them lose everything. Not everyone deserves money and success.
For the AFK XP Method in LEGO Fortnite, make yourself a plane and fly it to max height, then if you are on controller, tape your joystick to go forward, or on keyboard find something small to place on the key to go forward. This will make your character consistently move and get the xp (there are other ways to do this but at least use the tape method)
Do you have to make the plane for it to work or could you just tape your controller sticks and keep moving forward?
@@lightlingzooma-69no plane is required, just need to tape a controller forward and move, just try to make sure you have a very far path that has nothing in your way, so im trying different things right now. (also i just debunked the plane, thrusters stop working after a bit)

It's not just the DMCA strike, he also is trying to manipulate the players who play the map. There's a Zeus thunderbolt next to one of the billboards. You tap to interact to pick it up, it asks you to like/favorite the game. So you like/favorite it thinking you'll get the thunderbolt and of course you don't. RedvBlue and other maps are guilty of this too, which bumps up their maps into the most favorited map (Sypher made a video on this showing it off).
Good news is that the guys island got reinstated hours later, but we're all wondering if anything is going to happen with it, including Mustard Plays (aka Donald Mustard's brother) who spoke on more details that need to change.

A few of my friends made a map that rose to #1 trending with 10k players on it and got their map taken down by him in less than a day… we are currently working on a map called the tip (Pit spelt backwards) where instead of going down, you go up. We practically took everything from his map and did the opposite. Hoping Geerzy sees it hahaha

This is actually completely legal. In order to get his trademark he would have to show he is actively defending the pit as a name for a product. The pit can be trademarked as it is a source of revenue and is well known enough for people to use the name in the names of their own modes and copy the game pound for pound. Others may not like it but since epic says you own your map and have the right to be paid for the time people are on it then it qualifies for trademark. He will likely get his trademark as all the Lego maps are trademarked which has set a precedent. He will win to everyone's dismay. Its doesn't matter the its was his original Idea, he just has to be the first approved.
I suggest other map creators to get teams of lawyers as the should start applying themselves. Happy hunting.

Lego Fortnite, like any game I’ve AFK’d on, can be manipulated to think you’re playing by simply putting something on your keyboard to make you move. For controller players, tape though I think this may come with a risk of drift. I’d just get an already bad controller to afk with.
This is the same problem that CZcams creators are having with other creators in their genre copywriting claims that are unfounded to get videos taken down and they continue to do it over and over even after it’s been proven they were wrong which I think is the big problem here is that after the 10 days he can just report it again and keep doing that indefinitely unless epic does something

If you don’t want to get kicked for afk in Lego mode just put yourself on a jump pad and look straight up. You’ll be able to walk away just like before and come back to 5 easy levels 🔥👏🏻

I’m not the only one questioning why the enforcer Ar got buffed even though its vaulted. By the way, it seems the Enhanced Infiltrator Pump Shotgun keeps changing to a different type of gun all together with every update. Go to creative and check if u don’t believe me.

Also, why nobody talking about the instrument prices being reduced? While everyone got 950 vbucks for a bug, I got 1k back for owning 5 instruments that dropped down by 200 vbucks 🥳🙌🏾
