- I would like to say I appreciate all of the folks that come to see my videos to learn and listen to the stories that I tell of my life. now there are certain people that watch to try and hurt me and my family. not just in farming but in general. some folks think that I am wrong for marrying Theresa. the reason is that she is not white. well I am here to say that love has no boundaries. if you read some comments and if you had access to my email accounts you would see the hatred for her and me that come through that platform. its sad but we put ourselves out there and that's what happens so its ok. now some folks are little cunts that see what I do on the land I farm and they go after the farms that I have because I do take care of the land so I get the most out of my crop. so I am probably going to limit some of the field work stuff on land that I am not solid on. most property owners are cool but the ones that are new after they purchase the land they just do not realize what good farmers have into the land and they just see someone that offers them some money for the ground as just doing business even if its not right. I have lost some good productive land that I had a lot invested in to scumbag so called farmers. this little pricks know enough about what I have into it and will basically steal the efforts that I have done for there own gain. I had one place years ago get taken away from me after I planted the new hay crop. not 10 acres it was over 60 and they knew what I had done told the property owner that they would seed alfalfa into that new grass hay and give them 20 acres. for there horses and the property owner jumped on that told me that she had someone else to farm the whole thing and I was out. well I had about 9k in that crop and I wanted my money and I would leave. mind you the alfalfa was seeded in a month before I found out that this was happening. she told me got off and if I was back there I would be trespassing. so a letter from the lawyer later and the amount I would be losing and what I wanted for my efforts to plant the crop her lawyer said give him the money because a judge would more than likely award a percentage of my loss along with the cost to prepare and plant the crop. anyway I will figure out the plan to keep content and not lose ground in the process. now I have regained the acres I lost in another aria of the county but it's not as productive due to no inputs by the former farmers on that land. I have a contract on any new land I pick up and it seems to be good for both parties. putting money into land only to have a rich kids mommy and daddy buy them the equipment that is needed to make hay with no knowledge of how to grow or maintain that crop is annoying and its wrong.

A land owner who sell some property should be giving a heads up and explaining to the new owners any agreements in place, give contact information, and essentially be a character reference.

Wes I have been watching you for a long time and watched your operation change through the years, I appreciate what you said in the opening of the video, I believe what you said about Jesus, thanks for sharing, also the camera is an improvement especially with the microphone.
See this happening with land up here in Alberta as well. Work for an older gentleman and over the pass three years I’ve watched him fight for land. Lots but new owners doing the same and new guys popping up and seemingly over night swiping land. Have had three new farms start up within a 1.5 mile radius of us. Grew in sizes we can’t keep up with. Also family members of farmers that had quit years but are moving back now and trying to start up. Between losing crop ground and pasture ground it’s not looking so well. Splitting the hard in half here after calving for market. Possibly sell the rest before winter and sell all our hay. We’ll see how this year plays out for the farm.
We see it happen to guys taking land after you do some good too it. My boss is a old no tiller and holds some same valves as you. I’ve been the first guy to stay on in 7 years and I’ve been there 5 now. Every year we’ve done more and more to the ground and this year it really showed on some. Top 2% wheat yields in Alberta. Blew people around us away.
Happy belated Easter to the Pandy family! I truly enjoy your content and I am 62 and learn much. I sure enjoy Theresa, not a lot of spouses will work side by side on the farm. Mine wouldn't just bitched at how things never worked. I wish you all well in 2024!
I learned the best thing to do is only film your own Farm ground. The only thing they can do then is copy you😊

Wes, you say it as it is, a very refreshing view on life, and yes William should not hear all that cussing, but some times it happens, my father never swore at home, and I understand he never swore at work, but he was honest and direct, and fair, and feared by idiots.
Firstly I remembered that sad day when you go and get your sick Sister in the Hospital with a motor-home to make it as comfortable as possible for Her, sad day's my friend, further I really pick-up there is remarkable change in your life, really an example for me at least and the camera is awesome

@@onelonleyfarmer it sure would be a hell of an opportunity! Even just to work with you would be a great experience! I do the same thing you do just have cattle to add to my operation and instead of all big squares a majority of mine are a few thousand round bales! But your weather is different their then here in northwestern wi. I do know what it's like to lose land nobody wanted before you get it then get it to produce good just to have someone to pay a little more an acre and not to know about it till their deal is done it sucks!

Lol. You do have a very young lad out by you that mom and dad bought him some equipment. Mom posts his hay on FB all the time, trying to sell it because they don't know what to do with it.

Nice video, I always enjoy the stories. Video quality on your new camera is great, and so is the sound. I suppose the real test for the sound will be when you are talking with noise in the background. Many noises will be so loud that a mic clipped on your shirt may not make a difference, simply because the noise is too loud. Waiting for an inside the shop, with noise video... If you lime a farm you should get a three contract. It at least helps. And if it sells the contract continues.
Im amazed you can get five years or more contract.

DJI seems to be doing well. I still use my 2015 Garmin Virb XE which had never let me down. Just wish I could get a new replacement battery for it but I can power it off a brick so there I go.

We should hopefully have my dad's stone this week it's just been so wet they have been running behind putting them out. It has been a couple of years but I still expect to see him walking out the lambing sheds sleeves rolled up and baseball cap back to front with stain brown hands from where he picked up the iodine bottle rather than the rubber rings and a mix of red and blue paint on his face where he was helping a couple of lambs suck.
Though the memory of him coming out with a yellow lamb muck moustache still makes me want to vomit. It seems like we have lost so many from the market the last couple of years so much so that the average age has probably dropped 20 years

It’s a shame that people stab someone In back over farming on rented land. You aren’t the only one who’s been done this way. And you are right there is a special place in hell for these people. Hope you and family are recovering from the illness. There has been some real bad virus going around this year that has waylaid lots of people. I really enjoy learning from your channel about regenerative farming and repair on the farm equipment. Hope planting season goes smoothly for you.
