Myself and various family members have bought cars from Cazoo and Cinch in the past, but in every case they were models we'd previously owned or at least driven before, so we knew what we were getting. My dad for example owned a base model Mondeo and decided he wanted to swap it for a Vignale spec of the same year, so it was reasonably straightforward to do that through Cinch. However I don't think I'd want to buy a model I wasn't familiar with online having never driven it and I'm sure many buyers feel the same way.
I think it is a different matter if you have driven another similar car and then you decide to buy one online rather than if you have never tried one before.
