i love watching people play through the secret ending because every single time, as soon as the beam hits the pillar and they look up, you can just see the "OH SHIT" in their reaction, even without a mic
False advertising. You didn't include the worst ending: the permadeath ending. Ironically, I actually got killed in my permadeath run trying to do the secret ending. Put in the wrong spell and that just killed me on the spot.
To put it simply, the dalgarians believed that the world's magic energy was constantly growing, and the world could end if it grew too much. They wanted to sacrifice someone with enough power to dispel some of the magic energy to save the world. They created the legends to lure adventurers in with the promise of a cool sword, and they created the golems to test their power. If they defeated the golems, they would be considered strong enough, allowed into the tower, and sacrificed to save the world.
Golems are a test by dalgarians for adventurers with enough power to be sacrificed to dispel magic in the world, in normal ending we are sacrificed by the giant tower that has the much bigger shockwave than in secret ending because we had so much power/magic

I still need an explanation for the normal ending.

Okay, I just have a few questions that you may not know so I will ask a dev in the future.
@@Amazooka391 So essentially in the secret ending we doom the world for a cool magic sword. Worth it.
