@@chuck-echeese6706 you realize that you don’t need to spend hundreds of dollars on a keyboard to make it sound good right? This is a good budget keyboard you just have bad taste
@LowLighters the point of a condenser microphone is to capture the sound in a certain distance from the mic itself, to capture just your voice or in this case the keyboards sounds you want it close to give you the most input gain, and if you're running a gate effect to block out other room sounds you want it really close so you can have a higher threshold on the gate. Not sure what the mic distance logic you're troubled with is.
@user-fj6ei3gp9t believe it or not, that deafens a lot of sound. Why do you think people use keyboard mats? It helps create a thockier sound by muffling key presses that travel between your desk and keyboard. The large foam block is doing exactly that, but much better than a thin keyboard mat can.
@@user-fj6ei3gp9t I have 7 mech keyboards and I completely agree with him. It doesn't matter that the foam is outside the keyboards. on a raw table, the keyboard would sound completely different and loud
@@pxlyl he definitely tried to make it sound better. No reason to put a mic two inches away from a keyboard on top of 4 inches of foam other than sound
@@fastmushroom902 If u do plan to build it I would recommend not using the included silicone plate dampener. Instead I would use a sheet of pe foam and use tape on the back of the PCB
sounds great it’s just that when you’re normally using that keeb it’s not gonna sound as good, am i the only one who saw the massive block of styrofoam underneath it 💀
I have no time to make these things but I want a quiet one so bad. Anyone know where I can buy one ready made like this one? I have an autistic son who gets bothered by my keyboard sounds :(
The deep thock of the space bar is so elegant. Edit: The space bar has more of a thocky sound rather than a creamy sound (but that's just me). But the rest of the keys sound more on the creamy quiet side. Great job!
it depends on your preference i like a more clicky noise then this and my favorite is the kailh pro light green switch. but it's all about the sound and how much force you want for the keys. there is no one right answer.
I changed my keycaps to some Jelly Crystal OEM profile ones and now it sounds just like this 🥴🥴 GRANTED!!! I do have lubed linear switches too so both of those gave me the frothy milk sound
That noise is just... yes
I hate the whole satisfying trend but this one was 🫦
That sounds terrible. I would go insane hearing that.

Cuz it’s a creamy keyboard 😳
you down bad ong
people got the weirdest kinks man
Remove the foam when you sound test. Do it on the wood table.
Bros scammin us on keyboard reviews
Came here for this comment. Silent creamy! No shit when you are typing on top of 6” of foam
Let’s hear what the actual keyboard sounds like not a 2 foot tall block of foam lol
Ur so right and the microphone is like 1 inch away like bro its fake
@@lowlighters what does the mic distance have to do with it?
@@lowlightersrmb how he said it’s silent i mean the mic is to amplify the noise

The massive foam block is giving "Nobody's gonna know. They're gonna know. How are they gonna know?"

yeah it’s like the shoobs foam keyboard. if there’s a foot of foam under the board it’s gonna sound quiet
Nah fam , it's the silicone dampener . There wasn't any foam to begin with

Great sound tho
That 2 ft of foam sounds so good ..... Those XDA keycaps suck. I tried them for a day and returned them promptly to Amazon.
oh my gosh Ty that is so good
Ayyy DB
It sounds so good~ honestly I'd easily use that as a keyboard especially if the spacebar sounds like I think it does
Nah, the sound would not be same. The foam changes the sound a lot
Guys I have found many tutorials on how to make creamy keyboards , none of them worked , so I had to cream them mysel-
Underrated af and disturbing… TF
WTF (O_O)
Real talk, I always type with all the foam under my keyboard. All the ergonomics.
The sound bar is so good
Its perfect! it's not annoying and the same like other keyboard sounds. Its actually unique
It’s because it’s on a 6 inches of foam
@@Pancake_lover18ohhhhh
I never really appreciated gateron yellows since now.
I mean, you just need to appreciate the heaps of foam to make them sound decent
surprisingly good noise with bold creamy sound
I built this for my friend and I can confirm it's great

You are into the rabbit hole. Welcome
Love the keys but not crazy about the space bar
i cant agree with that the space bar is the best part 😮💨🤤🤤🤤

The 10 cm of foam under it will also probably distract you (This video is a terrible representation of this board's sound)
