nope, perhaps now FSU baseball can go to the next level. 40 wins a year is great, but NO national championships after many trips, no adjustments when going 0 for 15 the ONLY team to every do that in the CWS. all he ever wanted was to get there, never seemed to want to win it only get there.

This speech is dripping with the reason why 11 never won the national championship. His goal every year was to "get to Omaha." When "get to Omaha" is your goal, you are never going to win it, because you've already accomplished your goal before the first pitch is thrown in Omaha. Link Jarrett gave his first press conference as the new head coach the other day, and he said, "I only have one goal, and you all know what that is." Link Jarrett's goal is not, "get to Omaha."
