Chicago Cubs World Series Champion Chris Coghlan shared some wisdom with the 2020 Rebs at the Baseball Performance Center tonight. Always great to have the #MLBRebs back in town!
Chris Coghlan - Chicago Cubs - Overcoming Adversity - Baseball Motivational Speech. Chris Coghlan recounts his best year in baseball with players at his college, Ole Miss (University of Mississippi). It wasn't a year when great on-field things happened, but rather when he overcame adversity off the field. He was filled with self doubt and he was a self-described "whiner". His wife helped him not to accept that from himself and he was able to create a new attitude that drove him back to the MLB where he became a daily starter and leadoff hitter.
