I never said they’re gonna be “better” than the 2023 wins/losses wise or effectiveness on the field while I also have my questions about it. But you can’t argue the fact that this current roster is still more talented on a technical aspect.
I dont blame Taggart Jimbo left behind a very toxic locker room with extremely bad academic standards which limited on how he was able to recruit the Jimbo effect also carried into the start of the Norvell era and it showed he had 3 different types of rosters Jimbos guys Taggarts guys and the start of his own roster as soon as the Jimbo guys started to fall off things started to get drastically better

You broke down all the transfer portal players from last year who already went into the draft. The only person you went into any detail in who’s playing in 2024 was DJ, and it sounds like he’s not very productive when the pressure is on. I’d love to hear more about Williams, benson, and jones and what they can bring to the table. I won’t trip bc this video prob wasn’t meant to be an in depth analysis, but it just feels like y’all fsu fans are trying to ride the high from last year without much consideration as to what’s been going on during spring. If anyone has good resources on this I’d love to check it out
I think dj will be good but he is far from travis. Benson will be a stud this year imo.

I just wonder how the offensive scheme is going to play out bc Jordan Travis was a lot smaller and more nimble/athletic, I can’t really see dj moving the way he does and making the same type of scramble plays
a lot of things coming out from the noles247 board about what the FSU staff about DJU is that they say he's way better than they really thought and he's cleaned up a lot of things this offseason, if norvell can turn Travis into a heisman finalist i think he can make DJU have a pretty damn good year, he was solid last year at oregon state with ok playmakers around him

The difference in Fsu 2023 and now if The abilities of Jordan Travis he had 2 ints in 11 games last year DJU almost had that in the first quarter of yalls spring game its gonna effect Fsu this upcoming season this will have to be Norvells best coaching season at Fsu if they are to be successful but they arent no where near as good as theyvwas last year

The only two games that actually are concerning are Clemson and ND. Most likely FSU will face Clemson twice, sure Miami is loaded with talent but so were those Oregon teams that couldn't achieve anything of note due to poor coaching.

Unpopular opinion. DJU is so much better than Travis . Remember Travis wanted to be a receiver because he struggled so much at quarterback. He was throwing double coverage jump balls to NFL receivers. His cover reading abilities was not that great. We all know that just look at the play film DJU will be a game changer.

They absolutely deserved it. That was not the issue. Many of the main street media said we deserved it but also said due to Travis's injury we were not one of the best 4... Which totally ignore the fact that we had an elite defense and elite running backs.
And after those playoff games were played it became brutally apparent that Florida State could have hung and beat any of those teams.

Trash portal players turned NFL draftees. I’d say that’s pretty good. Shows the ability to develop. One man’s trash is another man’s treasure. Norvell has shown the ability to take unpopular choices in the portal and turned them into all conference players.
