A couple tricks I have learned thus far: (I’m on baby 26)
- the owl nightlight keeps nightmares/ monsters away
- toddlers learn skills faster when an adult or teen help them (unless they’re independent)
- sell the toys the kids get as birthday gifts in the mail
-set up a schedule: everyone wakes up around 6-7, eat breakfast (prepared day before), school, work on skills, eat dinner, bed by 9. Keeps your sanity
- always have another daddy ready to go so you can call them immediately following a birth and get pregnant again
- cook “party portions” of two meals everyday so your sims can always eat, and you don’t have to deal with sugar crashes

Chelsea (edit: Kelsey), buy a electronic trash can because you receive money when you put a plate in there. Also, use Olive to do Gardening, plant Grapes (initial fruits), potatoes (you can find it in Willow Creek), onion (find it on the desert world), tomatoes, lilies, and dragon mouth (it's a flower or a herb but don't know how this is named in english. EDIT: is snapdragon). Every day you do Gardening with olive (kids can't help) and sell it out or use it on the kitchen. Brings more money and you don't need to do much. You can also hire a gardener.

I did not know that was a thing.
Plant some vegetables. You can put things like apples and carrots in toddlers' inventories so they have something to eat immediately. They don't seem to go bad, there's a happy bonus for eating fresh food, and you can sell any extra. Gardening seems like something Brielle should get into....
toddlers usually won't eat them unless you control them to tho

Some *really* helpful tips I've learned: You should make the house (living area) smaller and get some money because it's really just a waste of space, then you can invest in both a nano trashcan- which actually gives you money when you throw things away, and also a better bed for Chelsea (which will give her better energy levels- obviously very helpful when caring for babies, especially twins).
Also, if you precook meals it makes it so much easier (rather than having to cook every time someone's hungry), and also painting is a great way to make money in addition to the royalties from writing. She can make good money even just beginning but once her skill levels go up she can actually paint masterpieces which sell for thousands of dollars.
One more thing- having your teenager get a job might just be a waste of time, they can really help around the house (cleaning, fixing things, etc) and caring for the other kids, and also will have more time to focus on school and getting their skill levels up so they can be aged up and moved out faster.
Really enjoying this series, great job Kelsey!
Edit: I forgot to add that when you have the baby at the hospital, it gives you a bassinet for each baby for free, so as soon as a baby is aged up you can sell the bassinets you have for extra money
What she should do is turn some of that living room area into bedrooms to fit the kids into so that when she starts bringing in money from painting and what not she is able to buy toys and things to keep the kids busy so they aren't making messes all the time and losing responsibility from it. ALSO she has been serving meals but she's also trying to make sure she is making money and taking care of hte kids and lining up the next dad. it's not as easy as it seems to just precook until the money is coming in pretty well.

I notice Chelsea always fails to have her fun meter up. Buy a wall stereo near her computer, have her listen to music and write at the computer at the same time. Also stereo music helps toddlers boost their movement skills. And they also look cute dancing hahaha.
Hazel Lee she could also check if she has those pair of earphones in her sims inventory. Idk how I got them but some of my sims have those earphones and they are wonderful because they can continue listening to music anywhere they go

When the toddlers grow into kids you should put their beds in the inventory instead of selling them (because you dont get the full amount of money when you sell them) so that when you have babies that turn to toddlers you can just use the beds in the inventory!
