What was your Alaska Cruise Like? Would you book one for just $85 a day!?
Alaska is so beautiful. I have been on a cruise to Alaska myself, but personally I lived on Vancouver Island and up north in the bushes. So when my parents and I went we weren't in awe like many who book this cruise as a bucket list item as we lived deep in the trees. I love seeing videos of float planes as it is always fun to watch them land and leave. Enjoy Alaska.

Noah's little curls 😍😍😍😍 to die for!
Noah has the prettiest curly hair and blue eyes. She looks so much like her mom but then she also looks her dad too! Both are very handsome and pretty people, so of course she is gorgeous! My 3 yr. old grandson has hair so much curlier. Tight, full, blonde curls all over his head. Naturally we have to use a special comb to keep it curly and not a big frizz. Brushes only frizz it. Everyone loves his hair, especially all the grandmas we meet. Hope we get to see Griff's family on this vlog!
Noa is so adorable! That ocean view room is perfect for you to be comfortable, to be able to see everything and still have Noa safe and out of the elements. And a great price!

As a 70 year old I would not like the family hours in the solarium. Do they open the kids and teen areas to seniors as well? I like having an area where it is quiet and no kids! I don't see a reason to have family time.

Nice to hear of the perks for Diamond and above. We will be sailing soon with them also and didn’t realize a wash and fold laundry bag was one of them!! Yay!

We did our Alaska cruise the first week of May and had spectacular weather. It is amusing you say 59 degrees is cold and the cruise will get colder. We sailed from Seattle, but then we are from that area and found the May weather (2 degrees in the passage on a clear sunny day) to be just perfect.

I am so happy to see this first glimpse of Noa's first cruise! I call my G-baby "Peanut" too! I laughed out loud when Griff told Noa to ""Stay put..." before you know it she will be scuttling around the room trying to help with the tour. Happy y'all are traveling and taking the fam with you.
Ah. Even as a mother of 2......i say no family hours. Lol i mean if it was always a thing.....fine. but getting used to no kids onboard other lines...its nice to seperate!😊

My mom and I just did an Alaska cruise on Carnival and we got an oceanview! I loved it! Glad we were able to swing it! Glad y’all had a great time! Noa is ADORABLE!!!

giving the solarium family hours basically means ruining the whole idea of the solarium!!! What is celebrity thinking? The whole point is that some of us want to get away from children and have a quiet place to go.
Families have the entire rest of the ship to hang out and explore, leave the Solarium for the adults!
I hope you enjoyed that cruise. Our first cruise on Celebrity was on that ship on its first restart cruise from St Maarten in June 2021. We scored an aft facing family verandah which had lots of room. I love Celebrity and am envious of you all :) By the way, what a beautiful child. Look at those eyes!
Ok so before that sweet little one came in to existence, we all ready know you two would make beautiful babies. Added with just how amazing sweet angels parents are, of course she was just going to be the sweetest angel baby. But seeing super dad holding little one as she slept…. Just no words, but a big ol feels trip. You three are perfection.

Can't beat the location of the hotel. Baby Noa is absolutely beautiful and those eyes. I would use that window as her sleeping area. ( that is if the bed completely closes in the window). ❤

On a Alaska cruise and if the solarium is the only closed in pool, then, yes, I think family hours a great idea. But if the main pool is also closed in the no, I don’t think it’s a great idea. On Caribbean cruises definitely not.
From the train or airport, there is a subway line and at the end of that subway line is a short walk to 999 Canada Place. It is the cheapest method of transportation

Looks like a fun family cruise
We loved the family time in the Solarium on Celebrity with our 4 year old son. We took advantage a few times to get an afternoon swim in on sea days, nobody seemed to mind and the kids were well behaved.

I love to get away from all noise and always book the Thermal suite for the adult only peace and quiet. However having an hour or 2 set aside for families is a nice thing, after all I am sure it is non peak hours and I am sure the time is limited. There always will be grumbling from people no matter what. Believe me i know as I have been cruising annually or more since 1972😂🚢
I think family hours in the Solarium for an Alaska cruise is great since the weather can be unpredictable there and still gives the families a place to go. In the warmer ports I think just leave it for adults.
I haven't even been on my 1st cruise yet and Um No! What are they thinking?? 58 yrs old, got 13 grands and 1 great!! I wanna adult with adults for vacation, grands can see us at dinner.😅

I kind of did the same cruise but a different Celebrity ship and no baby. The baby is adorable.
So, this Millennium is way different from the one I spent a day on when it was new. As for the solarium, I like i adults only. Definitely a redone cabin but I think the original one is fine as well. Oceanview is best for Alaska IMO based on the weather. Ship is from 2000 I believe but it has been "revolutionized" with some changes I like and some I strongly dislike. Noa has to be one of the youngest passengers onboard.

Maybe Celebrities cheapest Alaska cruise. I believe the NCL Jewel was offering the cheapest cruise at $279 pp That’s less than $40/DAY. You can get killer deals for Alaska in Sept and Oct. That little baby is ADORBS! Already stacking up those loyalty points. She will appreciate it when she’s an adult. My adult daughter thanked me when booking her first cruise on her own.

I think Celebrity has family hour is on cold weather cruises so that everyone can use the pool. I prefer the adults only solarium but, understand the happy hour.

I absolutely love to see you traveling with Noa. There are so many benefits to her. She will learn to be so social and learn so many things about the world and the people in it . I love when a baby joins into your life not necessarily changes it from what you did before. Love seeing the videos !!

It's going to be hubby and myself 1st time on cruise. Hubby and I have watched all your videos. Is it ok to decorate your cabin door! Or is this not a good idea?
Not be a butinski but my husband and I always order a personalized magnet on Zazzle for our door. We put our name and cruise on there and then we have a souvenir when the trip is done.

You shared your price for two people (thank you for that), but how long before you have to pay for Noa, and do they give you a fare break for babies as the 3rd person in a cabin?
Every person is charged, regarding age. Most cruise lines unfortunately do not have a special fare for infants. Disney is the only one I can think of that has a cheaper designated price for children.

Do they give you a crib for the baby or do you have to bring your own?
We requested one from Celebrity (and the hotel). It was so much easier than bringing our own across the country!
