    Excellent Thank you so much I've had this tune in my head recently trying to learn on a low whistle remembering an old recording of the legend Shamus Ennis but I could not remember the name of the Reel...Thank You Shannon❤

      Yes! A lovely tune, and it's been recorded by some greats (like Seamus).

    You settings help me very much, as well as ear learning , and singing. I'm a suckey singer, but I do it at home alone, or in the car. Even though I play the pipes, the flute stuff helps me a bunch. Thank you! 😃😃😃😃😃😃💖

      Ha! I'm sure you're not a sucker singer. But no matter how your voice sounds to you, I'm glad you're singing the tunes!

      I'm so glad you are playing Irish music in Argentina. I've never been to visit, but in my dreams I'd go to a late night milonga in B.A. and sit in with the band...

    Fab tune . Will be learning that tomorrow. Thank you for all the posture / relaxed jaw advice . I can feel if I'm playing a set of three tunes , rigamortis is starting to set into my lower jaw . Quite painful !😱

    • @ShannonHeatonMusic
      @ShannonHeatonMusic  Před 6 lety +1

      I'm sorry for your discomfort, but I'm so glad you're aware of it. Awareness hasn't fixed MY posture problems, but it's put me on the path. (Also, I've heard that learning beautiful tunes not too fast---like the Rainy Day--can promote a relaxed lower jaw!)

    Ohhhh that’s a nice one Shannon…I love the pulse 👌🏼 I’m going to have to learn this . What do you like to play it with ?

    • @ShannonHeatonMusic
      @ShannonHeatonMusic  Před 2 lety +1

      it's such a lovely tune, right? Maybe it could go after Far from Home? Or another nice G tune that ends on the lower G..... Or to go after it, maybe something in D after it. Something with dB pick up notes, and downbeat on A. Like Jackie Coleman's Reel, Bucks of Oranmore?
