- Famous Ballymote/Hare's Paw/Rainy Day (reel)
Video and recording by Hermann Overholdt
This is my amazing Traditional Irish Music class performing a concert in Sweden, December 2013. The concert was held in our classroom on Visingsö where we studied and played Irish Traditional Music together. Many thanks to our teacher Jennikel Andersson who made this possible. - Hudba
Absolutely amazing - thank you all so much - and I'm Irish!! Loved it!! 🍀🍀
This makes me so happy to watch. Before COVID my dad hosted Irish music at an Irish bar in our town. I learned the Fiddle and joined in some times. Hares paw is one of my favorites to play
It's amazing band wonderful music they play you could see they really put their hearts into this I give them all five stars ⭐🇨🇮🍀💯
These folks are really good at this. I envy them.
Hats off!! my biggest congratulations to those fine young musicians for spreading the modern Celtic heritage that speaks to us of a smiling Celtic past... Greetings from Puebla, Mexico!! 😍🎶
Ah yes that is what music is all about, having a good time and enjoying yourself!
Irish music is a force for good. An irresistable performance. Let's hope you're all still enjoying playing this great stuff.

As a Scot with an Irish mam..I love this music...and it makes me feel totally connected. A BIG thank you to a fabulous band of talented people. Gggrrreat stuff...one and all.

They might be Irish, the Irish are everywhere. They just might be the grandkids of assimilates
Great music really great, from Miceal in Dublin
Kinda learning the tin whistle just now. This girl playing is a dream to watch as well as listen to. It's a pity there's no follow up to these videos.
I cannot thank all of you enough. I am learning so many good songs that my teacher is helping me learn (I play Irish Fiddle, 3 years). I realize that these videos are 4 years old and most of the young people in this video are long gone and raising families of their own, but if you see this. Thank you so very much!
I grew up on this music in south lousiana. My great great grampah came from ireland on the boats.and sounda just like what my dad listined tin in the cotton fields

the blonde fiddler in black is the spitting double of my wife's hairdresser. i showed her the video, she was shocked as well.
love the videos, and music. shame so few though. curious to know if you still perform as a band.
Precious melodies. I enjoy them. Thanks for sharing. Greetings from Spain.😀👍
Fantastic. Do you guys ever come to Ireland ?
Hello, I’m French and I play a bit of tin whistle. Your videos are friendly. I’d like to know if you have the tin whistle tablatures of Murphy’s Slide, Gorman’s Reel, Famous Ballymote, Hare’s Paw and Rainy Day. I can’t find them on the Web. Thank you and good luck.
Really enjoyed this. Better than most Irish musicians.
Very nice ! The tin whistle is a Impempe ?
Yes, I'm pretty sure it is. I have one (a slightly later design) and they are very nice whistles. Lots of chiff and character that I like.
Update on them
What beautiful girls, the music isn't bad either
Anyone know if this group is still together ... ?
Hei, er dette en sommerskole? Skulle gjerne hatt mer informasjon :)

Tusen takk!
These fiddlers don't look like they're enjoying this at all.
Very good eh but Canadian music just as good thanks
Michael, shallow comment. Don't compare this to anything, especially not anything your own. Appreciate it on its own merits, for what it is, without judgement. I love east coast Canadian traditional music, and I can do that not to the detriment of anyone elses musical efforts. These guys are from somewhere in Scandinavia playing Irish trad music to a high level is skill. I think that's wonderful. Someone better than myself said "Comparison is the thief of joy" because when you compare, someone had to lose. Expand your mind and appreciate everything.
