i am excited for the new episode.
I think that between the sengoku era and this era the pillars had stopped awakening marks and probably had problems when it came to spread the breaths so they had probs had problems perfecting their techniques and getting those boosts which is probably the reason why upper6 was them and not a stronger demon.

@@frostking6615 You're forgetting that uzui has resistance to poison while the other hashira do not. If they were to be hit by a single poison blade, they'd go down a lot quicker than Uzui did in his fight against UM6.
I think gyytoro can beat every hashira 1v1 bc they need daki and gyytoro head to cut off to win but if he hides daki he is immortal

Love your interpretation about this being such a high level of Hashira. Even the master mentions this at the Hashira meeting, saying he believes this is the strongest unit since the first breathing swordsmen

The 7 hashira Daki defeated were probably from her broken abilities. Gyutaro says he killed 13 harishas so I would think they were counting separately. The previous hashira probably couldn't figure out why she wouldn't die even with her head decapitated.
yeah most likely they bested her but since they couldn't behead both her abilities wore them down resulting in their death.
Nah. It's started that she killed them without getting cut. Cause the moment she gets cut, her brother comes out to retaliate.

But if she gets caught, she fights them tough head-on because she's both defensive and long-ranged attacks. Honestly, she lost because her opponents were a surprise.
@@DonoZeek that, and when Tengen first saw her she already took decent damage(both physical and emotional) from Tanjiro and Nezuko. I wouldn't be surprised if she was considerably weakened. She completely lost her cool when Tengen started roasting her.
I imagine with previous hashira it'd been more like she'd have fought, they'd have let their guard down when she was decapitated and would be open to counter attacks.

You all do know both siblings are counted as one. Meaning they both are Upper Moon 6. They fight together and kill together. That's why no Hashira was able to kill them. Not because of Gyutaro but the fact the siblings are strong together.

@@emsa7esm203 Yeah if he fought alone and Daki left to go elsewhere, Gyutaro can fight without having to protect her and without fearing death as if Daki is in a safe place away from the fight, decapitating him will mean nothing.
This fight signifies how strong this current generation of Hashiras are compared to the previous ones. Despite being one of the weaker current Hashiras according to him, Tengen is still stronger then the previous ones seeing as how he played with Daki who held her own against previous Hashiras who must have not figured out her weakness.
yeah but she killed 7 and gyu killed 13. That could indicate she killed lower level hashiras of the past whereas gyutaro killed the stronger ones. She is definitely strong but not upper 6. imo

@@yourdude4197 Daki is strong enough to be upper rank 6, she's just not on the same level as gytaro. Being able to kill 7 hashira by herself is a feat worthy of being an upper rank demon. Even enmu and rui, the strongest lower rank demons, couldn't beat any hashiras, and both could. Rui was stated by muzan to have the strength to do so had he not split his power to create a pretend family and enmu had a large boost of power from muzan's blood and even managed to trap rengoku in his blood demon art, the only reason he failed was because he didn't account for Nezuko, who awoke tanjiro and then the others. If he had accounted for Nezuko and managed to trap her aswell he would have succeded

Uzui and a few others confirmed she was too weak to hold the status of an Upper Moon by herself.
She is stronger than lower ranked kizuki. So she's like somewhere in the middle in terms of power.

Considering she's not the “true” Upper Moon 6 Daki gave the gang some trouble because of her powers and because you have to simultaneously decapitate her and her brother Gyutaro. I loved when Nezuko went “Super Saiyan” and gave her a real ass-kicking. That was my favorite part of this manga chapter because it was nice to see Nezuko really go after a villain without restraint. Yes, I know she went a bit cuckoo afterward, but thankfully Tanjiro was able to restrain her before she did anything dangerous. I also find it funny that Daki’s name literally means “Degenerate Princess” when you translate it into English. The fact that Muzan also viewed her as dumb, and a hindrance pretty much tells you all you need to know.
I don’t care what people say I still consider Daki an Upper Moon 6!

Her power alone is upper 6-5 caliber, she just doesn't use them correctly, she needs to mature
She’s strong to a degree but not that strong compared to her brother however I believed her abilities which are weird led her to taking out many hashira as they themselves likely didn’t understand it before getting wiped out. I mean tanjiro was dodging and slicing her attacks when the dude had a mild fever plus using sun breathing
yeah I find it hard to believe that she defeated 7 Hashiras straight up 1v1 without a trick. Tanjiro when he almost killed daki (but ultimately lost) didn't hold a candle to Uzui. That is as if they are saying the previous Hashira had people as strong as current Tanjiro which is hard to believe.

Daki is definitely stronger than a lower moon but isn't stronger than her brother ofcourse so she is like in the middle somewhere but ya daki is kinda underrated
Daki herself is very strong shes just a picky eater and mostly makes a high doubt on the people she meets or encounter she is amazing but i know is that gyutaro himself takes the place, since he has more kill count that daki (7-13) if she didn't start a whole lecture with gyutaro she could have finished them off but still she is strong.

She was “over powered” by Tanjiro , Nezuko , zenitsu and inosuke (except Uzui) since they all have trained a lot before this fight and they were already the strongest they’ve ever been (not to mention that they all went to the next level of their specific breathing style and fight)
Daki was strong but was 4 at some point against her (except her brother who was fighting with Uzui)

I was really surprised when I reached the chapter that introduces her. She was pretty strong.
I cry for two hour straight with my tears running down non stop when I was reading their back story. I had never cry that hard in my entire life. People were so cruel to them. They had nobody but each other😭😭😭😭😭😭😭💔💔💔
I don't think you are giving her enough credit. She is honestly halfway between an Upper Moon, and a Lower Moon, like she made a post training Tanjiro look slow when she started the fight. This being a stronger Tanjiro who killed an enhanced Lower Moon 1 both in his human form and with help from Inoskue to kill the train form. Daki would absolutely crush any of the lower moons, but was probably just not strong enough on her own to get to Upper Moon on her own merits.
When your done with all the main upper moons you should do kaigaku and the other upper 4 sorry I forgot her name

Only arc I didn’t read, this fight just started in the anime so I’m hyped.
She destroyed Tanjiro with dance of fire god in base, killed 7 hashira, gave a good challenge to all four main characters, despite what we can see she fought very well against Nezuko at the end both come out unscathed by their regerenation Daki was paralyzed by her pyrophobia after Nezuko blood art. I think you can still call her upper 6 after all fact that Kaigaku and Gyutaro are stronger than her, but she has shown enough by herself, 3rd eye probably also gives her a small power boost. She would be a good challenge for Shinobu.
She is pretty weak alone
But her brother is strong as hell

Basically Daki is strong enough to beat some hashira presumably on her own, but is still weak enough to literally be called too weak by Tengen, granted she beaten up a couple seconds ago.
It is mentioned that the current hashiras are the strongest to ever exist besides the very first ones. So the hashiras she has beat on her own were probably much weaker then the likes of tengen.
@@christopherhenne4089 When did they mention that? I’m pretty sure Yoriichi and Michikatsu’s era pillars were stronger because they were fighting demons even without breathing styles. I don’t think they ever said this generation’s pillars were the strongest

What I'm hoping for is that if we get a sequel of the future generations of demon slayer, the demons that we felt sorry for, were able to be forgiven and had a chance to be reborn. I'm talking about former lower moon 6, lower moon 5 rui, upper moon six daki and her brother, the spider mom who was killed with blessed rain drought and upper moon 3 akaza. These are the only enemy demons that I felt sorry for and would want to have a chance to be reborn. They all had tragic back stories and were taken advantage of the most.
They will be reborn after they spend enough time in hell to pay for their sins
They will spend a few hundred years there (some maybe even thousands) but they will eventually be free and get another chance at life

Ehh daki was ok to me. It’s obvious she’s the weakest upper moon but I wish she would’ve put up a better fight considering how arrogant she was. Her screaming for gyutaro didn’t help her character at all. Gyutaro on the other hand is a different story..

To be fair though if tanjiro didn't exist any hashira even with non-hashira backup would've lost to daki and gyutaro together. Tanjiro has plot armour and limit break of shonen MC.

She isnt weak shes just weaker than most uppermoons shes too weak for a uppermoon but too strong for a lowermoon she could be like a lowermoon 1 if she gets stronger than she could be a real uppermoon 6 at the right strenght an uppermoon should be at. Shes a dangerous powerful oponent for them. they make daki look weak but shes actually not I think shes strong seeing her fight and in action.
