Yes, it looks like a decent unit .we have manufacturers of pulse grade capacitors in India which are reliable although they are bigger for the same rating.

Good videos! You mentioned do not get charger larger than your area- do you think a PW6000 (6 joules, 600 acres, 100 miles) would be too much for 10 acres for cattle? We will be putting high tensile single wire all around and creating 3 paddocks. This will be for steers so I want to make sure it has a bite.

Some brands are better built for having oversized units on smaller areas. Also those mileage ratings and stuff are for a single wire of clean fence. Power Wizard are a good decent brand. You could honestly probably get by with a Power Wizard PW3000 3 joule unit and do just fine, as long as the fence stays fairly clean.

Looks just like the DE 6400 by DARE.

Agratronix is the manufacturer. They make the power wizard brand themselves and also make private labeled units for DARE and a few for Kencove. They're the same inside just maybe a different size capacitor and different sticker on the front.

@@FencerFixerRepairLLCKansasCity What I figured - too similar otherwise. Good videos - you seem really comfortable behind the camera and I learned a lot from your walk-through (even though I'm an EE). Keep up the good work and Hi from Arkansas :)! Thumbs up and SUBBED!

Hey Boss mine just went out. Where do you source your capacitors? Or can I buy one from you?

I have them in stock here. The capacitors aren't super common to go bad, did you disconnect one wire from the cap and test it for it's uF reading? What does your unit do you plug it in?

It does nothing anymore no clicking. I have an Ohm meter. Can I test it with that? It smells burnt lol
