    I moved to Hawaii for my job! I’ve been living here now 4 years and recently bought my first home 🏡 My pay is enough, thankfully! 😊

      I’m a Nuclear Engineer with a background in Structural Engineering. To add to why Mechanical Engineers make very little here (Hawaii) compared to cost of living is because there aren’t any “mechanical engineering “ opportunities other than HVAC design. There isn’t a market for car, space, manufacturing & other careers that mechanical engineers typically get into. It’s weird though bc it’s the most popular engineering major at the universities here. Unfortunately graduating students go into something not necessarily what they were hoping for unless they are willing to move out of state.

      @@TheSTEMinistNetwork 150k in an area thats not expensive. I guess 128k is a lot but whenever I see 6 figure numbers for engineering or C.S careers. They're usually in expensive states or cities like San Francisco

    I think florida is a great choice to live for engineering minded people. Even though forida did not rank in top 10, the state offers many other advantages, if you don't mind the occasional tropical storm that is 😎

    I have one doubt. I am currently staying in India. My aunt stays in usa . I have got very good marks in my engineering. I am a mechanical engineer. My aunt has her own mechanical company. But she is 65 years old right now. She wants me to maintain the company in India. So to maintain the company , what salary can be offered to me from USA to India in order to maintain the company. I meant my aunt has her own company but since she is old she wants me to manage the company in India also . Can my aunt transfer money through u.s dollars. If she transfers through us dollars can I convert it into India rupees pls reply me madam please please

      We are based in the US and know about the opportunities here. There are multiple automotive companies that are not only great employers but have great opportunities for various types of engineers! Moving to the US would be great for you if that is what you are interested in.
