I am Electrical Engineer but for my current job I'm seeing many mechanical subjects especially mechanical design, materials and thermal too. I’m a Latina woman and I tried applying in a university and the man that was going to fill out my application, said to consider a career change because it wasn’t for me, even though I told him I’ve been dreaming of studying aviation degree/certificate, was going for ‘airframe tech’. He didn’t even let me apply just told me “sorry it’s not for everyone” I felt so discouraged, but now I’m just motivated to change the school of my choice even though I really wanted that school :(

i really like physics and math and want to solve problems etc so I've always wanted to go to engineering, especially chemical engineering, creating materials etc, but somehow i can picture myself being a doctor. i feel like i'll enjoy working in a hospital or lab more than in an office

Thank you Aerospace engineer can be very tiring but it can also be very fun. This degree will be hard and take a long time to master but once you got it you will be able to work with many type of project. This range from help build some of the airplane structure to helping in building rockets that will take people to space, or satellite to space or other planet. This job can have it's hard part and it can also have it's fun part.
