I don't know what I would have been without reminders and adding events in my calendar. I prefer doing it on the phone since I always have access to it and it seems quicker to me. You are so right about those tips because I recall in the past I used to think that I can memorize all daily tasks. It's only after evaluating myself that I realized that it's better to write them down and read them before starting your day so you have a good idea of what you have to do.
Yes, you can become a scientist by doing either of those majors! If you want to work as a research scientist you would have to find a lab/ company/ hospital that is looking for an engineer to fill the "scientist" or researcher role.

Exactly! When I try memorizing tasks there is one minor task that ends up slipping my mind!
