My thoughts on each one of them: 1. My favorite one! Because it looks friendly and surely reminds me about food, I think that's because of the yellow color in that... 2. It's friendly as well, and even slightly fits to when we think about food. 3. It's really beautiful, but, I think that would fit better in a brand of watches or men's clothing, maybe.. 4. Oh, I thought that the idea was so clever when I first saw it in the video, but in a second look at that it reminded me about mother board, you know? memory chips, computer stuff... 5. It's really beautiful and brings that "inheritance" feeling. But I thought that was too much formal to me. I'm not pointing any mistakes in your work bro 😂 don't hate me. I'm just showing my perspective as a potential customer of White Castle.
I like #5 a lot though that's a good point that it makes it somewhat more formal or high-end than the original. Great point that #4 could be seen as computer-like.
How the hell are Harold & Kumar gonna find the White Castle now you changed the logo of it 😁😂 --- Option 1 it is, the yellow really did it for me. Love it 🙂👍
Option 1: Looks great! Similar enough to original. Clean without being too boring or overly modern. Pleasing to my eye and friendly. The font and yellow make a big difference. Option 2: Bit too boring, stiff, modern, techy for me. Lost the charming old-fashioned Midieval feel of original. Option 3: Better than 2 but bit too boring and unmemorable for me at least for a charming, casual, Midieval brand. Option 4: Reminds me of a Pacman video game or puzzle piece or abstract. Doesn't do much for me or remind me of castle enough. The font does have some nice, castle-like shapes to it. Option 5: Great! Shield + castle with the date. Has the charming, Midieval feel of the original and is distinct. Someone said it looks like beer but I think that's just cause some beers also have a Midieval or Renaissance era sorta brand and to me that doesn't mean that era only stands for beer. Midieval Times and Renaissance Fairs or knights come to mind too. A charming, retro, fun feel for me that helps it stand out from other fast food restaurants. Loving your videos! I like that you mellowed out the yellow too.
Options 3 and 5 are more organic evolutions of the current logo. Option 1 is great, but way too similar to the original and hard to tell there is a RE-branding.
I feel like option 5 reminded me of something you’d see on the bottle of a beer or cider. Three was my favourite. It may have appeared slightly corporate but was a very different approach to the original which I feel is hard to achieve when you’re so used to the original
5 is the best but it just looks way too much like a beer/brewerey logo, especially with the established date. That being said, 1 and 3 are also great, but I weirdly like the half-logo concept of option 3 so that one has my vote!
