  • Are you getting cramping, twinges or doubling over pain outside of your period and are you wondering whether it’s ovulation pain, implantation cramping or potentially an ovarian cyst as indication of PCOS? Let me explain to you what ovulation pain (mittelschmerz) is, when you have it and how you can tell the difference from implantation cramping or a possible cyst. Yes, we'll also talk about whether ovulation pain actually happens right when you release the egg or not.

Thank you for clarifying this! I know way too many women who rely on their "ovulation pain" and refuse to chart because of it

Man, I miss ovulation pain. I used to have it constantly each month and that was the way I knew I had ovulated but now I've gone a year without those feelings and I'm not even sure I'm ovulating anymore 🙄

I went in and got this checked out recently. Turns out I had pelvic floor dysfunction and just finished PT. I am still in amazement to how helpful it has been for pelvic pain

Hello, many complimwnrs for your video, very helpful and well explained. I have a question and I hope you'll give me an opinion.
I know exactly the day I ovulated because I got the two lines sticks. I started to feel pain on 5 po bust not much and for a while ( in the evening when I was sitting watching tv).
On 6 pm I woke up at 4 o'clock in the morning because of pain and it lasted about one hour,. This is unusual for me, I don't think I had pain during po before, sometimes just one day before my period bust most times directly the day of the period ond not so close to ovulation.
I'm trying to conceive and I hope this could be a good sign but it seems so early . Today is 7 po and I feel alright, no pain and everything is like the other times. I'll wait untill 12 po to do a test.
I really hope to get a positiv .

My ovulation pain is the dull type, lasts about but no more than 48h, but bothers me more than the mensuration cramps, just because it is more constant. Testing with the LH strips, I noticed that it actually happen when the LH is rising and at the highest. When LH is done, the pain also goes away! Is that normal?

Hello there! I have a question? I'm a 40 year old woman who hasn't been on birth control for more than 15 years now. I also do not have my tubes tied. At the moment I'm 11 days late with lots of cramping. Very uncomfortable abdominal pain. Even when I'm on my period which last no longer than 4 days or so, I don't get cramps like this just pressure pain. This pain came around a week ago or so and i though I'd may start but still no period just lots of abdominal cramping. No nausea and 1 night I had a real bad headache and had to take a covid test which came back negative. Could I be pregnant? At my age what arenthe chances wo being on birth control or having my tubes tied.

Low grade backache around ovulation… coincidence or something more?

  • @laurynschuller3589

I am 12 dpo.. the tinges/ poking feeling started at about 8 dpo. My period should start in like 3 or 4 days… I’ve taken tests 2 times and they are negative. My bf and I had sex 3 days before ovulation but he withdrew. I know it is possible to get pregnant from precum. I do have the history of getting cysts but these “cramps” aren’t like cysts or period pains. They are so light, it’s like a poke and only lasts a few seconds. It comes and goes. I’m just confused because I never have experienced this. I did also come of the nexplanon about 26 days ago.
