- My first event for 2022 and it's my first time at the Spitfire Raceway venue in Cornwall which operates on Perranporth Airfield.
A great event and really well organised, the Cornish weather threw some curveballs but there was plenty of track action and good attendance despite it being a cold January!
The next event here is on the 9th of April.

I was there with my son, was a good day apart from the mist coming in and the Baltic temperature 🤣! I work with lad who has the silver focus ST! Well filmed mate!

This was filmed on a Sony AX53 with no external mic, it seems to cope with wind noise fairly well without and picks up good audio so I never really use my rode one.
I also have my old Sony AX33 as a spare backup camera and a few GoPros for in car stuff
Bit wet and always bumpy, but had a laugh trying to get grip in my m3 and made some new car freinds! Top video mate. Thank you.

Hey everyone letting everyone know there is a rally school taking place on the perranporth airfield called kernow rally experience which is a amazing way for people to learn and a brilliant present for friends and family I 100% recommend for people wanting to have a giggle

Was going to Spitfire raceway in April,but a photographer mate & me are going to a forest rally stage @ Builth Wells that weekend.

Did the guys get timing slips?
Yeah they got timing slips, there’s a scoreboard but it’s behind the start line so couldn’t get it in the video
great video... but would be better if we could see the reaction times and quarter mile times...
The boards were placed behind the startline for some reason so I decided to sacrifice the timing for a better view, probably won’t go back here just wanted to tick it off 😅

Nice effort but I class this as a daily driver race certainly not a No prep race. No prep is 1/8 mile, not 1/4 mile can send you the official no prep rules if anyone is interested
I know it was used as more a title than any real meaning, Real No Prep 1/8th mile is held at other tracks in the UK
@@mk1kieran do Santa pod hold any.I'm currently in talks with a group of people who now owns Shakespeare county raceway about holding a event in the summer
No there isn’t any at Santa Pod, Melbourne (York Raceway) and Dakota Raceway are the only ones to my knowledge. I think there’s a couple more in the pipeline.
Hasn’t building already started at Shakespeare? I can’t imagine they’d let a drag event run, be awesome if they did though.
i will drop you a email over the next few days with some updated info the actual race strip belongs to a historian group who have been fighting to keep it as is since April 2019
