- Why I created my CZcams channel? Well, watch and find out!! #nikkelanddimedecor interview with #RetirementRescue. We all have a story and I want to share mine with you. Quilting is my hobby and my channel shares with you over 170 videos.

I agree with you,my sewing is my therapy!, a friend of mine taught how to quilt over 20 yrs ago, I made a quilt for my daughter & then life happens 😊, work raising kids and so on,I did not quilt for over 10 to 15 yrs later,I retired 9 yrs ago, never taken a class at a quilt store “to expensive”
for my budget,been making quilts for my two grandsons and 7 great grandkids!,will be starting two new quilts for my 8th great grand child due in July, made lots of pillow cases and burpee towels and other things like bowl cozy’s, I’m visual so I rather see a video tutorial on CZcams that taking a class like to go on my own speed 😊, it was nice to see this video and get to know you a little more,I’ve been following you for a couple of yrs, keep on on keeping on,best to you & God Bless you ❤

Quilt stores can be intimidating for sure. I have been quilting for 2 years and have only taken one class. I have learned a lot on CZcams thanks to creators like you. What’s one tip you wished you had known starting out quilting?
That mistakes are acceptable. I was too Perfect at first. I stressed over perfectionism instead of enjoying the process. Now--I am having a ball

I have the yellow brick road pattern and I couldn’t figure it out and I’ve been told it’s easy. I did watch your videos for it but I’ll have to watch it again.
It takes me more than once in learning. Don’t give up and thank you for watching my videos. Sometimes I have to make the pattern without thinking and then when it goes together, I can see the whole scheme of things. That’s the way it was for me.
