I’m an actual student in this academy it’s very challenging but it builds character and confidence
One of our best 🔥
Yo how did you join this academy?
Link in bio
Yes because the skills you obtain as a Cloud Engineer can branch off into a multitude of roles such as Cloud Security Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, Systems Administrator, Cloud Architect, Site Reliability Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, and Network Engineer.
Please who is a Devops Engineer and what do they do?
moral of the story just learn everything and keep your fundamentals strong you'll be in demand
Thanks Soleyman for this great piece of motivation. Between learning cyber security, your cloud engineer program and some python, i hope to land a job soon to start getting cloud experience. Hopefully to do cloud security.
Cloud engineering skills are certainly worth it but it probably speaks poorly for the economy for the next 6-12 mths to see so many of the Big Tech companies laying off recently.
Thanks, great video
Thanks for watching 😎
So is Cloud Engineering still worth it? Let me know!!
Yup
Can you make videos about How to become freelance cloud engineer? How to find clients ?
Can experienced software engineer jump into the cloud engineering ? Will it be worth it for them in future or should they focus on coding skills ? What do you suggest ?
I’ve been trying to register for cloud academy, but the link doesn’t seem to be working for me.
Can you send me an email on hello@soleymanshahir.com
Should be working ok
@@techwithsoleyman okay Thank you.
Good stuff. Keep it up
Thanks, will do!
Salaam soleyman i am new on your channel . I am here to appreciate your content uts very helpful ❤
What do you do if you dont have experience, who is going to hire you ?
Great video (really helpful information)
Question for you, do you think the Google IT Support Certificate is a good Certificate to start with as a beginner (non IT background) before the 1st foundational AWS Certification ?
Any education is good, but I'd go for the comptia certs as they do give you educational credits for them.
Hi bro! I love what you're doing and new subscriber here! By the way, I help content creators to increase their online presence through video editing and enhancing their post and reels for better engagement and audience retention, which is why I'm tuning into your vlog and learning a lot. Just sending this message because I love your work!
Nothing is pursuing at this level --- because, at the end of the day, you are merely finishing the last mile mechanically for some OTHER guy, namely: the business logic guy --- and THAT guy matters.
What about cloud security? Still good?
Absolutely
I'm Front-end developer so i can go to the full stack or devops please give me a roadmap from now to cloud engineer what will i do 🙌
Yes ... that is because of VMWare being a horrible and now expensive option. Many cloud-phobic companies are now switching to Azure if they have missed out on AWS for virtualization. They need infrastructure and IAM gurus and retraining. Once moving over the rest of the staff will realize how adaquited their skills have become and HR will demand cloud experience for any new hires
Well said
@@techwithsoleymanrather on prem (VMware) or cloud it depends on the use case. Also let’s not forget VMware is best at leveraging the old to the new
Moral of the story, just KNOW everything. So you can do the work of many while getting paid for one.
No corporation can fully implement AI company-wide without some sort of cloud computing. As we move into using AI to replace current work, that's simply not feasible.
I am working toward cloud sec
Honestly which woukd you suggest Devops or cloud engineer?
Either is great but cloud id say more entry level, devops more specialised
What about cloud data engineer?
Brother how to contact you , i am a user of your pdf book , had emailed you in your email reply , not getting any reply , it was as urgent
I currently work in manufacturing role in a bakey and academically I haven't even got my GCSEs.
Would you say this is to hard for me ????
This is something only you can answer, nothing is too hard imo
@@techwithsoleyman money side of it has my attention. I want to be able to give my kids the life the deserve not just scrape by after working every hour god sends down.
I keep telling myself I am in a fked up situation as it is can't get any worser so might as well have a go.
Many companies are going OUT of cloud services, nobody got the money for bs like that anymore, and the ones who did, was funded by the public market, they to do cuts, all in all, do dedicated server hosting first then the rest.
Wrong
@@techwithsoleyman Probably in your bubble that's a correct assessment.
Let me know when netflix goes on prem
@@techwithsoleyman You didn't had enough fun with Azure going bananas i see, you'll wait for an actual cyber attack to get you unemployed, ok, fair enough.
Any company that wants to do ML or AI on their own data needs to move to cloud. My company is about to completely finish moving to cloud after 5 years
In South Africa is worth it 🇿🇦
Indeed, you are highly regarded as an expert in this field. I have watched numerous videos of yours, and they consistently inspire and motivate me.
I am currently working towards completing my first AWS certification (Cloud Practitioner), and I have a question regarding the necessity of learning Linux. Is it essential to acquire this knowledge now, or can it be postponed for a later time? Additionally, are there any recommended certifications for Linux that you would suggest?
learn linux basics as a side dish to your AWS course. Run a dual boot setup or VM setup, make it a task at first, to become a habit as of later to run into Linux for your courses. You'll need to set up a browser, add-ons, some note taking - maybe even set it up on your own NAS, which mostly runs Linux - you're gonna do labs and setups ...to some degree...on your local workstation, all above will get you some basics in Linux. Cheers mate
Dude today was day 01 for me😂
Love it
No
Silly
I would love to register for your class but I’m unsure or maybe worried 🥹 hope it’s not like the rest on the internet.
No pressure at all 😎 I have loads of free videos on how to get started on the channel
@@techwithsoleyman okay thank will watch and if convinced will register.
