Love the run as always, your deadpan jokes always hit so well! For the Candice fight, I'm pretty sure Dusclops gets access to Shadow Punch which would just bypass Froslass's evasion tactics no? I'm permanently scarred by double team spammers in these games so I always have to come prepared XD

I'm glad to be early for once ! I really dig this idea, I always wished trade stones were at least something can get in normal games, since I don't ever play with anyone I know or nintendo online is in the way lol
Yeah same! I love that they added them in legends! Eventually I got a second ds and enough different games that I was able to solve the problem when I was younger, but I still shouldn't really have needed to do that.

I'm sure Cyrus does actually stay in the distortion world? There's a line from Saturn in the Veilstone HQ, something like "after our boss disappeared atop mt Coronet (and never returned)".
Cyrus himself said he doesn't want to hide away, he wants to make the world complete by ridding it of spirit and emotion. But after you defeat/capture/fellate Giratina, that's what he ends up doing, alone in the distortion world.
Would love to see a trashlocke or randomizer from you for sure!

This man needed a second DS for trade evo's, I laugh because you could use the GTS glitch to trade evo by yourself. 1) Put your trade evo up for offer on the GTS for something impossible. 2) Fulfill a trade request another player has put up. 3) Retrieve your Pokemon from the offers and watch as it evolves. 4) Profit
To be fair I was a kid at the time, so glitching was a little bit beyond me. Like I doubt I knew how to connect my ds to the WiFi

Now do the opposite of this "No trade" run by doing a "Wonderlocke" run of a pokemon game of your choice. I'd also like to see an "Egglocke" where you do get a full team for every gym, but after you get a badge, you need to box the old team and hatch a new one.
Whats a wonderlocke? Cool twist on an egglocke, i'll add it to the list.
@@psyduckspice some pokemon games have "wonder trade" as an option. You send a pokemon to be traded with random people on the internet. Introduced in X and Y, wonderlockes can use the nuzlocke rules but when you catch a new pokemon, you trade it over wonder trade and what ever you get is your new team member.

Not gonna lie, I saw that mirror cost from a mile away, but I don't think you have any physical move users left to play.
Yeah I also assumed it was going for that mirror coat, but I didnt really feel like i had many other options.

An idea for another nuzlocke, much like your typelocke in Black and White, but instead of a wheel deciding the types, you go by youtube community polls or something. If it's a gen with an odd number of typings, round up by one more deleted type. Gives some more community interaction and it's unlikely that still phenomenal types like fire, ghost, and ground remain unbanned if it's a community vote
I had this in mind when I came up with my typelocke tbh, but I didnt have a community so I had to go with the wheel. I'll 100% being doing that run again and be using your community idea at some point.

True, I suppose you'd only get one Eviolite but still would make it a lot easier. I picked Plat because it gave me the most pokemon to play around with honestly.
I want to see a run where you use marowak in a team idk what kind of run it would have to be but it would be cool.

I guess its because gen 1 had a lot of evolution pokemon to start with, and then gen 4 added a decent amount more to older gen 1 pokemon

Pokémon needs to get rid of trade evos! For guys like us without friends who play. existing trade evos should have the option to evolve by trade or by doing something difficult such as acquire an item you can only get in late game or level up to level 45+
You could also do something as they’ve done in the newer games with Pokémon like Primeape (ex have Magmar use lava plume 30 times to evolve)
Its funny, they already fixed the problem in legend arceus by letting you buy an item instead of trading. Being gamefreak they then forgot about this item for V/S.
