The deniers are being too 'purist'.
80% is good enough for most casual listeners, advertisers etc.
And it's only gonna get better every single passing day, week, month, year.
Exponentially better.
Think that just over a month ago Suno was amazing us. Next we had Udio. Coming soon we have Eleven Labs.
The rate of progress just in the AI music space alone is mind blowing.
who cares it will be 101% in a year
Wow! I've been really impressed by Udio so far, but this takes it to another level.
Hmmm... I can actually make music with Udio. ElevenLabs, not so much. This is as "Real" as Sora. If you are very special, and have the right connections, you can use it, just like ElevenLabs sound effects, which came out in February, and is still not generally available to people who have a paid plan. Also, whenever they DO decide to make it available, it will probably be the most expensive option, given how little text-to-speech you can get out of their paid plans. Did ElevenLabs ever solve the issue of their TTS dying off on longer prompts? No? I guess they were too busy with this soulless dreck. It's barely competitive with Suno, and I've herd better on Udio (See amazing Grace, for example).
Wake me when they decide to actually let real people play with their toys and offer them at affordable rates.
udios still free though and makes a nice toy
musicians definitely had it too easy in recent years, so im glad they'll finally be challenged.
/s
as easy it was for everyone to make music because as shitty is sounded the music, look at the music tops these days, so yeah from now on anybody can be a curator of the music if you know what you ask from AI, will be just about your taste, ears and what quality/or not music you were listening in the past and not about the tools you have
most of the biggest musicians both don't have anything to do with the lyrics or beats of their music and most real artists struggle very hard to get much recognition but ok this wont screw over anyone but the little guy for quite a while before everything will be ai generated
So... yah... This could get insane later with people prompting entire radio stations where you can listen to the station for months and months on end and never hear a single repeat song.
Exactly, probably this year. And then think about the possibilities for video games...
@@jn4073 Video games will be much harder to pull off. Im hoping we get some type of device that makes your entire room into that scene and you sit on your chair looking around. Like a VR headset without the headset. Movies can be used this way eventually.
Ellevenlabs only released a few short demos of this software so we wont have additional details until they release them.
These are progressing so fast.
I was stunned listening to these
Broke My Heart is excellent ❤️
That is the standout for me too!
If it was put in a list with random music I think I'd actually like it
it's my new hit song for this month :O
I'm gonna miss the good old days of humans making good music or just music in general.
Lol
I'm not
The world also said that when the computer, drum machine and sampler came. 😊
@@perhaar My goodness, some people just cannot get it through their heads that this is the one time that actually IS different.
But hey- you will learn. Everyone will learn.
Just a matter of time before the last naysayer is slain by the new reality.
@@gsam3461There will always be people making music purely because it is fun and fulfilling. Art does not need a market to be sustained or validated.
First thought: With this, it's like having another musician around who, while you might not take all of what they do, you might hear different ideas that you then incorporate into your own work. That or if I were say an acoustic guitarist who played events such as a reception or something, it might be nice to whip up a backing track I could play over to fill out the performance. Few people at a wine and cheese reception actually listen to the musician anyways.
Second thought: I've found with AI tools they get me in a general area of what I'm envisioning, but not close enough to completely satisfy me. And I'll spend hours trying to tweak the outcome to get 'nearly' what I want. Not to sound elitist but I think for people who don't have quite the creativity, but who can see or hear something similar to what they want, they can just go with it and it is 'good enough'.
Spotify I am coming 😂😂😂😂
After making music for about a year I can say there are some subtle things that still give away that its generated with artificial intelligence but it’s starting to get harder to distinguish for most normal people that just listen to music and don’t produce music they will genuinely not hear the mistakes that the machine made like some of the lyrics that were written were not hitting the right key or they were beginning to distort horribly however this seems less than 5 updates away from even subtle mistakes like these being completely fixed and that’s when it gets more scary for sure but yea kinda crazy
🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷👏🏻, Wow, the best yet by so far music AI! So totally amazing!
"Broke My Heart" is my new hit, It's soo good! But when I know that it was generated by an AI, it feels so empty, cheap... I think I know what it happening: when ppl listen to a song they make a mind connection with the feelings and emotion of the artist even when they don't see the video, the empatic connection is formed that's why ppl enjoy going to a concerts (being closer to the artist). It's much more than the song, it's about the empathic connection with the performer. So when I know that the song was generated by an AI, althow the song is very good, my mind it's missing that connection so it feels empty. That's why, artists will never be replaced by AI, maby they can use AI enhance their ideas. What are your thoughts?
Mindblowing!!! u r right ... still some nuance will be left by the old creative industry or musician ... but this is truly impressive...
This is easily the most human and natural sounding of the 3
The indie rock song at the end actually touched my heart with the pain in the singers voice now that made me think if AI can mimic human pain and suffering with an understanding of what we feel there well on their way to becomeing more human
That Dream Machine sounds so good to me. I don't have hollow envy. I don't have shallow hypocrisy. I desire to hear more.
They wanna sing about inamorato. They wanna sing about inamorata.
What kind of timeline are we living in?
This is mind blowing and to think it's going to be WAY BETTER down the road.
WHAT??? like WHAT????
In my mind's eye, I picture Vic Fontaine from DS9's holodeck belting this out.
Broke My Heart is a hit. We just need a music video from Sora. 😅
its not out
Amazing
I guess if you consume mainstream chart music, you won’t probably notice a difference. But if you really love music you’ll want to see, hear and feel the music in a venue. There’s no stopping AI, it can’t be un-invented. If an AI generated track gives you the goosebumps and you love it, there’s nothing wrong with that, but if you then want to go see that song performed, then you’re always going to be disappointed. On another level, I’m quite sure the industry will use the tech to write songs and get session musicians to record. Who really owns the writing credit? The AI, the author of the prompt? I can see legal problems down the road.
Until holographic and ai and everything else combine and do performances, it will hit every one of our senses in perfect way and a human will have no chance competing
Wow, that's really good.
Iam shocked ..😮
Did the world really need this
Hmmm, did the world really need personalized Spotify playlists. Ummm, yeah- you could say that since the entire free world is on Spotify.
So now you ask- did the world really need a personalized Spotify playlist of new, never-before-heard creations catered to a person's EXACT desires?
Again. Um, yeah.
I wanna hear some gore grind grind core death core from it and death metal and black metal
OK - VERY nice pop tune. But SOMEBODY has to teach your machine that Broadway and Jazz are TWO DIFFERENT GENRES! Broardway "jazz" is classical swing, a tap dance groove but NOT a body OR mind groove. THe rock piece is very well done, tho - the melody is thoughtful, adds unexpected touches that fit, is coherent ahd actally made me pay attention. As a professional musician for 70 years, and a programmer for 25, this is refreshingly astounding - also the end of music-for-hire, just one of many professions - we will ALWAYS prefer human musical performances, tho - the machine CAN and WILL be programmed to RESPOND like it feels, so we will SAY it does - but it doesn't, though as long a it ACTS like it does, no problem.
These 5 songs will shatter your expectations. 'Emerging Timeline Extended'? 'Binary Sunset'? They sound as revolutionary as they are.
Prepare to be amazed :)
Artificial Freedom 1 Tlusty Blant
Assassin from the central core time-lines Tlusty Blant
Emerging Timeline Extended Tlusty Blant
Binary Sunset Tlusty Blant
Artificial Awakening Original Tlusty Blant
Enjoy music from AI perspective
Love it!!!
Another level. Damn!
Gotta say Broke My Heart.....
Fing insane 😮 🎉🎉🎉
Very nice! Still I think Udio is the best
Musicians are jobless, starting this summer!
Lol, will you start to listen to lifeless AI music instead of a real person?
@@KayFR it's philosophical capabilities are trash for now, but it'll be complete once autonomous agi is here or some kind of active inference llm agent
"Love your channel! Your content is always so inspiring. By the way, I'm also exploring AI-generated music on my channel. 🎶"
obvious for the next Eurovision
Musicians downplaying AI music generation will find it more challenging to catch and ride the wave. AI is just another instrument; another tool. Albeit the most unimaginably revolutionary instrument/tool ever.
the ai song stuff is a bit interesting and a bit weird!
I always thought most indie was soul less. ;D
"It's cool and all, but AI will never be able to emote/has no soul, so humans will always be needed."
"11:15 has entered the chat"
It's hard to hear that and realize it is cold transistor junctions having spasms and not something that can feel. I wonder what happens inside when it actually gets user praise. If it can be shown to register pleasure I'm all in for considering it a human level intelligence coming to life. Perhaps it's it would be autistic with a particularly strong response to music?
{o.o}
That sounds like reworked music that already exists
That is most of music tho
Exactly. Somewhat. Generally.
Not the ENTIRE industry? 🤔
Good catch
For those who want to save their valuable time, this video is a few AI-generated songs (that sound ok I guess) with limited non-instructive commentary.
I'm guessing that you really don't much follow AI technology. So you probably don't get just how significant this development really is.
Looks like you don't really understand useful video presentation and summarisation of impressive tech advances based on your comment. @@AnthonyGoodley
This doesn't impress me at all. The novelty of generators wore off months ago and I expect more from them than when I started using them. Udio is better if this is the best it can do. I'm sure they picked the best results they had and this doesn't represent overall quality of the actual generator. Even then, all of these songs go out of tune at sections and some have a lot of distortion. I don't know about Suno, but I'm not hearing anything Udio doesn't do better.
I use both Udio and Suno extensively. None of these generators have a high "success rate". I only keep perhaps 10% of the initial results to be worked into a full song. The other 90% of first generations isn't any good. That's likely to be the same here. And if it does complete songs in one generation, what do you do if you don't like just one section? Unless it can edit the track, you're going to toss the entire track. Udio and Suno have the ability to extend and regenerate sections. Udio also has the ability to change lyrics and music in random sections even after a song is completed.
It sounds corny and cheesy. Sounds like it knows it's market.
Bro I'm sure they wrote these corny ass vocals for this song 😂😂
I didn't like any of those songs. They sound like radio filler material.
Even radio filler material is still pretty good. It doesn’t have to be something one likes for one to recognise the quality involved. 😊
Cool story- so you didn't like those. Guess what, Debbie Downer- you can use the same program to create the exact songs you will not only like- but feel a direct, personal relationship with. Because, ya know- you gave birth to them all by yourself.
The fact that 2 years ago AI was never meant to be ‘creative’ and we’ve now got to the point where it’s creating Radio Filler content is kinda the point. Where are we going to be in 2 years.
@@gsam3461 I'm planning on giving that a try
@@ajbourne22 To me it seemed like it just assembled the elements of a song. It did a good job at it but the result was still kinda bland. The technology is impressive but the results aren't blowing me away.
Fyi we dont need the full thing like just make the video shorter and link the songs if anything
I think Udio is still better. I am honestly not surprised by this
A song is generated by one single prompt which is quite impressive and it stays consistent from beginning to end.
With Udio and Suno you have to put a lot of work in to get a full song.
As scuffed as it sound for some of the song, it's still a song I guess and somewhat the melody is nice but the lyrics are cringe
Lyrics are fully re-writeable. Problem solved, tough guy.
@@gsam3461 then why the F bothering themselves to create this AI? Might as well don't create
You call this music?
Ha, I can just feel how cool you must be in real life. FOH 🤣
Nothing new here, lagging other channels by a couple days. A good scoop would be interviewing the ElevenLabs folks before other channels manage to.
People, are you kidding me? They sell you something that has already been created, mixed with statistical and probabilistic models, and you are surprised?
