We really just have one goal - to make your food life better. Ok that, and be entertained at the same time. And have you learn a few things along the way. So let’s make it 3 goals then.
If you only want the steps to make something, like those vids shot from above with no people, no conversation no nuthin - then we are absolutely not for you. But if you wanna a little fun while you learn, then this is the place.
Cooking doesn’t have to be hard, it just has to be delicious.
-
THANK YOU ❗️ - Zábava
Sam is THE ONLY chef who'll admit if something like McDonald's is good and not be indenial about it. Unlike some other chefs.. just prove why he's the GOAT of all the Chefs on CZcams, super down to earth lad
right, Mcds has been around for years nearly everyone has been to one and has gone back many times... but yeah it all sucks... it is what is and generally never tries to be anything else.
most of them can admit it. you only know this one. Guy could'nt make better tnuggets than mcdonalds despite spending $ and time
@@mikeh4613 eh, I made a better MCchicken at home that blindfolded wouldn’t be able to tell a difference
but maybe some just dont like mcdonalds we dunno
He's always catered to stoners though. His channel is mainly food entertainment. Not recipes the average viewer is going to attempt. Unlike Brian Lagerstrom or Kenji. Nothing wrong with that it's just not easy to compare them.
I didn't even know Sam had a CZcams channel. I grew up watching him on my local community broadcast at like 6 or 7am before I had to go to school. He made me want to try all kinds of different foods! Looking forward to continuing my cooking Journey with Sam!
😮😮😮😮u r just illiterate
One of my favorite takeaways from Sam's vids that I use quite often are his different sauces. A lot of them have so many applications. I end up making some containers just to use throughout the week lol.
One thing I’ve learned is to never watch Sam The Cooking Guy………. On an empty stomach 😂😂😂
My husband and I are big fans! We started watching your show about 5 months ago. I broke my Ankle 4 weeks ago so I have binge watched your show for the last month. You guys are awesome and so fun to watch! Keep up the laughs and the delicious recipes. We made your Salisbury steak recipe...YUMMMMMY! THANK YOU!
Your friends from Florida
My family loves your sauces. Ever since we saw you make ranch dressing (several years ago) we never went back to store bought. I just made all 3 of these for tenders and they were excellent. Thank you!
Haven’t had McDonalds or any fast food in about three years. These look fantastic. I keep saying I’m going to make them, I will now. Love all 4 of the sauces.
Sam, you're so dang likeable. Thanks for these great recipes in a fun to view format. Don't ever change!
he's a pothead. you ever meet an unchill pothead? nope! lmao
I'll definitely be doing this it's so simple and will be a welcome addition to my arsenal of recipes. These will be fantastic for parties I feel.
There are four shapes of Chicken McNuggets. They are known as the Bell, the Ball, the Boot, and the Bow Tie.
I worked at mcdonalds for a few years & one of the nugget presets is 1000% a mini USA lol.
One of our favorites too but learning to make them at home is awesome . Thank you
I always love seeing the senator from Metal Gear cooking.
THIS! is why I cook most all our meals at home! thank you for this. my granddaughter and i will be making these soon. and yes i am teaching my granddaughter to cook.
Looks great and just wondering why all the seasoning went in the batter and not any in the chicken when blended.
It's a simple flavor.
I would definitely take these over McDonald’s any day! 😋 These look yummy!
I LOVE that cutting board! I would love to order a personalized board from them!
The conversion of spiced dredge to batter was a stroke of genius, Sammy. Great work as always 👍
That's pretty common nowadays.
That's basic cooking knowledge
I bet a lot of the comments are on the yummy factor of the food or the banter. And well deserved. But the production quality of the videos is a maz ing. And it’s consistently amazing. Well done boys with all the work that goes into the amazing videos.
Watching Sam eating and enjoying his creation makes me even more hungry! Everytime!! :D
Those chicken nuggets looks super delicious Sam!😋😋
Ahhhh... chili prawn crunch. I was in heaven when I found that condiment.
I just had a taste for McDonalds's nuggets yesterday. I'm definitely making these along with the sweet & sour sauce.
We love watching your videos!!
The bacon ranch mccrispy has been my favorite thing at McDonald’s in a long time. Always super crispy which is surprising for a fast food place
I made 50 of these just now. They’re perfect!!! Thank you Sam & crew :)
I love how you're nothing like the other cooks on CZcams that feel it necessary to just bash the name brand product that they're trying to emulate just to make themselves feel better about what they put out. You actually praised the McNugget and then made your version. Classy and that's why I solely rely on your recipes and experiments now!
Any food created at home is far more healthy and delicious than a fast-food joint. IMHO. Thanks Sam and crew for this production. The music and effects are outstanding!!
it's not healthier if it uses the exact same ingredients, assuming all them are fresh.
so if we were to assume he used everything McDonald's does, it's the exact same.
realistically the only thing different he did was add more seasoning, not much to discuss with health and paprike, garlic power etc.
now it can be healthier to do it yourself, but that would usually mean not making it how others have.
like vegan mean bs and nonsense like that.
me personally, idc if it's overly healthy, we're here for a good time, not a long time, most people won't live to 100, first 18 you have little freedom and individual ability, then till retirement you'll be working a lot,and after maybe if you're lucky you'll have enough money to live comfortably much less have everything you want.
considering all that, why waste time worrying about another week, another month, another year alive....learn to live before you die.
hold on too tight and you'll see it all vanish before you can enjoy it.
Love the explanation on how to make some great chicken nuggets. I guess for me, chicken tenders is the way I usually go 😎
This is awesome. I need to try this one!!!!
I can always count on STCG to give me sound life advice- don't eat poop! Love the channel. Thanks for taking time to create these videos!
Absolutely Amazing 😊 Thank You So Much. Delicious Cheers 🥂
I might have processed the chicken too much so next time, I'll make the pulses a bit shorter. That said, this was really good! I added panko to the mixture and that added a bit of extra crunch. Sam, it is YOUR FAULT 😄 that I've started using my air fryer, my Instant Pot and getting into the kitchen and making something! I'm a member of Les Marmitons International, a men's cooking group, and combined with that group and your tutorials...I"m in the kitchen! Thanks
I just made some boneless thighs tenders the other day. My dry flour mix is almost the sane as yours, except I used roasted garlic powder.
Then I drag them through and egg and worchester wash and coat with seasoned bread crumbs.
Shallow fried in extra light virgin olive oil.
My daughter is gonna love making these with me 😃
You should have also made a McSam's version of the nuggets with dark meat and spices.
Great dish guys!!! Love it!!!
Wow when he said everything he dreamed of I knew it was true so delicious im makin them!!!
I'm curious, how do you decide when to use flour and corn starch, when to use baking powder and baking soda, when to make a batter like this, when to use eggs.. In general, could you do a tutorial on frying stuff, perhaps chicken in particular, but a chicken fried steak wouldn't be amiss.
Awesome work, gentlemen. I could tell that that crunch wasn't fake. That is what cooking food yourself sounds like.
I cooked Sam's spice bag for the second time this week. After eating the recipe twice I totally believe the crunch is honest and this chicken looks as if it might be twice as crispy as the salted chilli chicken. I might have to combine the two and test just how awesome it might be 😎
@@Moondog-wc4vm sounds like a plan! 👍
2 TB mayo, 2 TB sour cream and 1/2 a ts of spicy chili oil is an amazing dipping sauce for some nugs
Raise your hand if you've been watching SAM for a long time🤚
✋️
In the Uk they had a sweet curry sauce i wish they had here. It was the best ever.
Question kind sir...
What if you took it next level and used
Seltzer water... Instead of tap water?
Should make nice air pockets to level up the crunch...
I love nuggets! Definitely trying your recipe tonight!! Looks So good!
Did I just stumble upon the best thing I’ve seen in a long time? Yes.
The habanero honey would be awesome. 😋. I'm so doing that.
Absolutely love the channel. So much great food. Fact that i’ll probably live 5 years less due to a heartattack is just fine by me!
That commercial near the end (for the 12" cast iron at your website) was how commercials should be done. periodt. er'ry time.
Absolutely trying this! :)
AMAZING…. MUST TRY 😇👍🏾👏🏽
OF COURSE I WOULD SEASON THE RAW CHCKEN MIX BEFORE SHAPING.
GREAT JOB MAN 👌🏾👏🏽❤️
Nice little recipe. Could freeze them also I guess for a quick lazy launch to be eaten later.
I love how proud Sam looked at 8:58 about his segway to the webshop. :D
Love you guys 👍never a bad meal keep ‘em comming 👍👍
Lee Kum Kee Sauce For Lemon Chicken is awesome too on chicken nuggets.
But here in the Netherlands there is a brand of sauces (Yildriz) that make BBQ sauce that tastes as it is the Mc Donalds version, that is great too
It's the only dry mustard worth buying!
Sam, I love you. That makes so much sense! Make many and put them in the freezer 🤦🏻♀️🙌🏼🙌🏼
I love the recipes! My only criticism is that all of the recent videos seem very edited for speed. I felt rushed by how fast everything was happening; like steps were skipped. I remember when I was younger and watching cooking shows where you saw the chef mix ingredients in real time!
Sam can you show a recipe for a traditional yumyum sauce that you get at japanese grills?
I gotta make these, love nuggets but stopped eating McDonalds for a long time.these look great
They look and sound delish!
good lookin' nuggets; i'll make them but i'll shape a little 'handle on the patties like McDons. Dips look yummy, ty Sam.
There are actual names for the four (if I recall correctly from 30 years ago as a manager) shapes. I am sure it is on the internet someplace but I remember one is “The Boot”.
The nuggets are not random - McDonald's chicken nuggets come in four shapes: the bell, the ball, the boot, and the bow tie.
The nuggets were really good in the 90’s… I’d love a recipe that mimics that version (they had both dark meat and white meat nuggets - yum). I would order all dark meat usually. Maybe I’ll try with this recipe 🤔
Chicken nuggets are my favorite menu from McDonald's. Sam, keep doing your thing!😂
Loved this one. Nugget looked a little spongy .. was it?
I'd have to say McDonalds BBQ sauce is one of the best sauces I've ever had. Perfect amount of sweetness and tang.
Get the family together, made these and use all the hottest sauces in the fridge. Like first we feast. We have a blast.
Free million dollar idea, a nugget scooper/ ala ice cream scooper to simply scoop and shape
Making this one today!!!
Before watching i am excited to watch this ( subbed ) i hope it's kind of easy.
If we freeze them for later use should we thaw it first or fry them frozen as is?
Originally the roundish ones were white meat and the bent nuggets were dark meat and you could actually ask for the ones you preferred. But that was 35 years ago when I was a tiny kid working his 1st job at McDonald's.
I’ve tried these a couple ways in a similar way, 85/15 split white to dark meat.. Add white pepper and msg while blending the chicken made a huge difference in flavor, thanks for sharing!! Amazing video as always
Swanson's Fried Chicken Hungry Man T.V. diner tastes very close to McNuggets, when fried in oil.
@@user-sx8lr4kv1y...and they are gawd awful when microwaved. The picture on the Swanson box looked so good. I was so disappointed when I tried them 🤮
after watching, i think it's doable. thumbs up
Thank you guys for your awesome content.
Thank you for this!! I usually make chicken tenders with knock off Long John Silver batter; they are delicious. I never thought about homemade nuggies. They turned out great, so much more filling than my fav McD's nuggies. We now have a baggie of nuggies in the freezer for a very easy and quick meal. We really enjoy your channel, keep up the good work!
So you fully cook and fry them, then cool them down and freeze for later use?
Where do you get Long John’s batter?
@@manehbag732 I have the raw frozen in a baggie, just take out the amount you want and then flour and fry.
@@Virtuenow I am sure I found the LJS batter on CZcams. 3/4 cup AP flour, 2 tbsp cornstarch, 1/4 tsp each of baking soda, baking powder, salt. Mix in about 3/4 cup of water.
@Kristie Parker oh I see. I was hoping for a quicker alternative. One that I could take out of freezer, and pop into the toaster oven and it's done fast; for the kids on days after school. I wonder if I can fry, cool completely then freeze them? Thanks anyway
I really gotta stop watching these videos in the middle of the night. God, I'm hungry now.
According to the interwebs, Mcnuggets come in 4 different official shapes, the bone, the bell, the ball, and the boot. 😆
Looks good, pretty sure McDonalds just uses Tempura batter :)
I like Ur batter better bc U can see the spices. Great job and I'm going 2 use Ur hot mustard sauce udea. Thanks Fellas
Can i add that i liked the slow-mo when he was adding the mustard😂
These look great - will be trying for the kids tomorrow! BTW - where can I get one of those black cutting slabs? Can’t find it anywhere!
I'm definitely making Sam's nuggets!
When the replica is better than what you’re replicating, you’re the man
Bang bang sauce is garlic chili paste (Sambal) instead of siriracha. And a bit of lemon juice and white vinegar.
“It’s everything I dreamt it would be” lol
I wonder, would these be better if you use whole pieces of chicken instead of ground up meat? Those sauces are killer, fit for all sorts of dishes.
Hey Sam, you make the signature sandwiches from the big chain places, how about your signature sandwich from your chicken restaurant
I just bought mc nuggets and then seen your video and was like no way are you doing nuggets right now 😂
I would love a cutting board from them
Thanks again, now I'm craving chk nuggets.. suppose I'll make them myself!] Now I can Lads! 😊
I pre-ground and shaped my nuggets and put them in the freezer and then the next day (yesterday) I dredged and battered and they were sooo good! Gonna be a staple in the house for sure. So easy, thanks Sam!
Do you think frying then cooling then freezing would work? To make a batch for quick lunch after kids come from school? I wad hoping to just take out and put in toaster oven like I do with the kinds I buy.
@@manehbag732 I haven’t tried that, but I think it would work! I bet they’d be even crispier if you did it that way, because you could kinda gauge the crispiness as they toast
Trick...use sparkling water to make the batter. Dunk the nuggets in before all the fizz disappears. You'll like the difference!
Nice f*****g job Sam, as always. As you were blending the chicken, I was wondering if that wouldn’t be a good time to add some seasoning as well?
Dear Chef Sam,
Nice job thank you for the recipe 👍👍💪🐓🐔🦃
that buy or make question at the beginning, I agree on making them...as an employee, and eating them...while the boss ain't looking.
Hey Sam..... You GOT to do your take on the McDonald's Crispy Chicken Sandwich.
Nuggies. Love a good nuggie. Used to honey bbq dip them by the 2 dozen. And with fries and a sundae.
4 classic nuggie shapes I think. I used to love that plain orange drink, not the bubble drink they have now. That old school orange was the bomb. Good ol Ronnie used to have some great stuff. Them grimmice cookies as a kiddoe was one of my highlights. And that hamburgler.
I thought you'd be using that bacon floss breading on a remake but stuck to the og. Nice.
I believe there are 4 different nug shapes with the boot being the favourite.
