  • It started with a home fans protest march that included Dave Kitson, escalated to tennis balls being thrown, saw Reading take a two goal lead and then .... it all turned round! Tino got the first and Colby scored in "Tennis Ball Time" at the end of the first half to go in even at the break. The second half was mostly Pompey and we might just have unearthed a new find in "Terry Devlin Baby, Terry Devlin oh, oh, oh" who scored the winner. But Reading weren't finished and we needed Super Will Norris to produce a couple of great saves to ensure we took all three points back home!. What a day and it now goes to 26, 26 I say! PuP!

Just wondering, why do you sing Portsmouth City rather than Portsmouth?

Because we are a city, may not be the clubs official name

Reading fans showed no class when we were struggling and neither did we yesterday.

You’re right. Portsmouth fans were the only team to come to madstad and not back the protests. Bit odd but each to their own I guess but when you’re in the lower leagues for a long time I can imagine fans do start becoming a bit bitter towards others. Hopefully Reading won’t be down there as long as Portsmouth currently are.

Your fans are embarrassing, We backed the team regardless of what troubles we were in off the pitch, So many empty seats on Saturday in home stands, Should of gave us another 3000 away tickets we would of sold them...

I've been a Pompey supporter for 56 years, but I think we should have shown some solidarity after what we went through.@@teddy5494

Pompey supporters have long memories and remember Reading supporters waving bundles of money at us , when we were struggling. What comes around, goes around, I guess. Had I been there, I would tried to show some solidarity. Don't be too confident about the length of time you may be out of the limelight, but it's not the end of the world, as long as you have a team to support, you can still have a bit of fun.@@Nocluedo
