This channel is following my football journey from supporting my long term club Pompey, to non-league football and Littlehampton, then the England national team and to the growth of Women's football.
England win the group but struggle to score - Blues Views Euro 24 England v Slovenia 250624
Well the second half performance was an improvement on recent games but still wasn't enough to beat a stubbornly well drilled Slovenia side, who themselves now qualify for the last 16 as well. Mainoo and Palmer were welcome contributors and there were positive signs, but inevitably it was the full time boos that left their mark. The knock out stages are here, Come on England!

A fantastic trip to see England finally off and running at Euro24 and a win to boot. Not the greatest 2nd half, but 3 points in the bag and on to Denmark. Great to catch up with so many Pompey fans supporting the Team, but the support was great wherever we went. Follow England Away.

Last match of the season and it was a promotion party at Lincoln. The hosts were hoping to get in the play-offs themselves but in the end they were there to see the Champions and we came away with a good win. It got a bit feisty near the end but the refs handling to that point caused it plus Lincoln could feel it slipping away. Anyway a great to finish the season and 97 points to boot. Champion...

It's so near now. We could have come here and won and been Champions but on the day a draw was a fair result that did more harm to Bolton's chances of automatics than our chances of winning it. On a wet and wild night at Fratton the top two fought each other to a well deserved draw that leaves both with a good chance of automatic promotion. Derby took both their chances well, but Pompey bossed the game yet rarely threatened the Derby goal. However both Pompey goals were worth the wait, especially the pile drive of a Moxon equaliser. The long Good Friday! On the road to Wycombe and a degree of nerves pre-match, not wanting Pompey to throw away their advantage. On the day we didn't need to worry as despite conceding a quick equaliser to our early goal, the boys bounced back and grabbed the three points with a degree of control and purpose not often seen by us at Adams Park. We take it and move on. Derby at home on Sky next ....

What a day this was! Great pre match by the barge, great support in the stadium and topped off by Yengi scoring the winner in front of the travelling fans! It's starting to taste a little bit like .......!! A few games to go yet though and we'll celebrate this one all the way to Wycombe, PuP!!

At 2 - 0 it was looking like a comfortable evening, control the game and game-manage the win. Then a scrambled goal and the last 10 minutes become nervous and hoping we see it through, but we did and thankfully the 3 points were secured. Two goals for Yengi including a memorable penalty, but also a glaring miss. Fantastic performance from Marlon and on we go to Peterborough on Saturday. PuP!
