Proper rate Pompey myself, my favourite club down south and the best fans on the south coast by a country mile
All the best from Leeds
Everyone of us Pompey fans know Leeds r biggest team in Yorkshire 😉😂
Hopefully you get promotion, or see you in championship next season, pup
Kind words from Leeds I hope you get promotion and keep SCUM in the Championship for us😂 Although it would be a good day for Leeds away...
I really really hope Carlisle stay up. Great support at FP in October and good support again. Good luck to them
Me too. My first game at Fratton was against Carlisle, 73/74. Always had a soft spot for them since.
Still travelling home from there now! Started at 10am and won't be in until 7pm 🤦♂️ bloody trains! Carlisle, you are a class place to go, 100% a must do away weekend for anyone
Well done to the Pompey fans who made the trek all the way up north. The win is a good reward for the effort made by those fans 👍
Carlisle were hard to beat at Fratton as well . They are better than where they are currently . A good day for Pompey with results elsewhere .
Thank you for your kind words for the Pompey that made the journey. PUP.
Good honest opinions well done gutted first game we’ve missed away this season actually vlogged the play off semi so really wanted to do Carlisle hope they stick with there manager & come straight back up ….
Great turn out, Pompey. PUP! 🔵⚪️
wheres the red mate? Were the colours of the union jack for a reason PUP
Remember the Carlise fans at Fratton Park. Noisy and up for a laugh. Fingers crossed they hit a good streak and stay in the division. Good club, good fans.
To be fair to Carlisle they played really well. However, it was clear they set up for the point by going 5-3-2 with hardly anything troubling Pompey in the second half. After, Pompey converted they weren’t troubling top of league 1 enough. Their league position doesn’t relate to their personal skill. This is only because teams set up really defensive against Pompey so naturally at other games they need to chase points and not drop them and that leads them into losing against people like Cheltenham and Leyton orient (no offence to any of those clubs fans.
Really enjoyed that! Thanks for uploading! 👍
Enjoyed this, cheers. Pompey fan in Germany here.......Pompey hochspielen!! (play up Pompey doesn't have the same ring in Deutsch, I will admit)
What a weekend we had in Carlisle
Fantastic vlog as always Mr Craig, Pusb Utwt
Come on CUFC!!
Pompey fans will be hoping that Southampton don't go up from championship this season ,so they can get into old foes next year 👊
Pompey play a lot better against teams who expect to win. Haven't lost to any of the top 7 clubs this season. They gave themselves a kicking at half-time and came out more like league leaders and suddenly the gap became clear.
Long trip still recovering
Up the Blues
Did you know Carlisle hold the record this season for the biggest away support away to Bolton 4,600 and away to Wigan 4,500 miles more than any other team in the league , and they travel nearly double the miles of any other league 1 club
Not double the amount - Pompey, being on the south coast, also has lots of miles to do, as do Exeter. But agree, the Carlisle travelling fans are impressive.
Cov fan! Went there when we beat them 2-0 in the league cup probably about 2007! Mad the way the away fans overlook the terrace behind the goal, rather than the pitch. Remember getting 2 meat and potato pies cause they were absolutely banging! Miss these kind of grounds
bwfc only club to fill that end behind the goals this season
@@owencrompton3713it’s fairly easy to do when’s it’s not that far of a drive
great vlog alex good luck with your last few to tick off
great vid mate #pup
Top job, well done mate 👍🏼
It's a bit crazy how Carlisle managed to keep so many terraces ,very lucky fans a lot of clubs are pleading for safe standing areas ,to bring back old school atmospheres .
I have also been to Brunton Park as an away visitor. It does look a bit old school. That empty terrace behind the goal is a bit of an eyesore. While from the stand at the other end, you get great scenic views of the northern end of the Cumbrian mountain range. Sorry Alex, I don't agree with you about the mascot. Crusty the Pie at Wigan must surely be the best mascot in League One?!
I meant the best mascot that is a Fox in the football league. Seeing as it’s only Carlisle and Leicester who have one that’s a fox.
behind the goal is used for big turnouts .. v Bolton & Derby it was full ..
Fish 🐟🐟🐟 Shaggers
1st half Pompey didn't turn up, but 2nd half were the much better team, especially when Kamara came on. But Carlisle were much better than I expected. Don't think that long journey from the South Coast helped the Pompey players too much - we always seem to start slow on long away trips.
the players probably came up the day before or flew up !?
@@hvidhavn1 They drove up day before. We never fly. That journey is a killer. I remember a similar journey against Fleetwood, where Robertson tweaked his back because of the long journey and couldn't start the game. Think we should look at travelling on a Thursday, like we did under Kenny Jackett, so that fatigue after a long journey isn't as bad.
Play up pompey
When my club played Carlisle to be honest they were toothless ,at Bloomfield road blackpool fc easy 3 0 win ,they looked out of there depth in league one ,though all respect to there support very good .
Two of the post.
Portsmouth away next season will be class
The Pompey fans were put in that stand because unlike northerners, they are used to the big yellow ball in the sky that is our star [The Sun] and are less likely to run screaming from its rays or achieve a northern sunburn in February.
Are you blind or just stupid? Home and away fans share that whole stand, so your attempt at ridiculing Northerners is null and void. I'd expect nothing less though, awful attempt at 'banter'.
Portsmouth have great following .better than Southampton I reckon .I'm not a pompey fan I'm birmingham fan
