- Hello everyone!
I just want to start by thanking you for taking time out of your day and watching this video. I hope it brings value to you and helps you in some way!
In this video I'm taking the rear end of the triumph Daytona 955i apart. The bearings are all in a terrible state and need replacing.

What a waste, the footage of the dismantling will be a good guide for DIYer. Good job!
Might have been, but can’t do anything now. Sadly it’s gone.
Brilliant video. Bike us going to be brand new when you finished. Sharing like crazy, keep up the awesome content. Thanks
I'm enjoying this build. It's like waiting for Christmas as a kid. Can't wait for the completed bike.
Thanks Chris. Should be a pretty decent bike once it’s done :)
@@cameron-danebates6411 Glad you’re enjoying this series! :) Got a few more episodes coming :)
on another note the 4 pins that drive the wheel on the wheel side mine were broken (bought the bike a month ago) triumph was back order so found the ducati drive pins fit right in and they had them in stock
Thanks for your comment!
That’s good information if anyone has the same issues :)
HELP - how do you get the last remaining link you showed out of the frema? I have bolts removed... but fo do I pop this out of the bottom frame housing? hELP
So you are referring to the steel link (drag link I believe) that’s bolted between the frame and the drop link and shock?
@@garage_tales yes indeed... i have the main bolt out... exhaust away etc... just wondering is their anything else holding it in? One side seems to have a bearing, the other doesnt... just a bit nervous before I bash the hek out of it.
@@garage_tales i still havent done this part though... lol
@@MrSlingshotdubai does it spin freely? Nothing else should be holding it in. Maybe just clamped between the 2 sides of the frame. Have you tried undoing the swing arm spindle and possibly engine mounts to see if it loosens it?
@@garage_tales i just downloaded the factory workshop manual... and indeed it states to reduce the lower engine mounting bolts to the frame to loosen it.. so you are correct too. Ill try this tomorrow and evening and im sure all ok. Your videos are SO useful for a forgotton future classic... thank you
HELP = how do you take the swing arm bolts off? I have the correct tools... but im not sure how these actually come out?
Hey there. Which bolts do you mean? The main swing arm long bolt? Just hold one side fixed and undo the other, remove the shaft, undo the lock nut on the right side, back off the adjuster bolt and the swing arm should fall out :)
@@garage_tales i did it...
@@MrSlingshotdubai Great! Well done!
