There is a happy medium between fully produced video and a one camera set up. I don't care if the lighting is not perfect or if it's not in 4k or whatever. She should do a more basic video portion.
Seth Green isn't the first name that comes to mind among bucket lists (famous people you want to meet). It's a shame, because he's clearly the guy you want to hang out with and listen to.

Audio only is far less compelling. The video production doesn’t have to be professional, but any video is better than no video.

This episode is so loaded with GREAT life lessons! Thank you both for this one.
Normally I enjoy the interviews we receive here however Seth Green gave the same interview in the “Inside of You” interview with Rosenbaum. Not a great time listening to same story again. I turned off the interview before the end. I haven’t many that I follow so it’s only Tuesday and Wednesday that I get notifications that podcasts are newly available, hopefully next week is more enjoyable.
As for people wondering why it’s audio only you can find out in episode one because Katie explains it all. I like the video ones too but see how the audio only is more fluid and is a better option until further notice.

Very decent episode. Seth's stories are fascinating to hear. Very surprised that this ended quickly at 69 minutes. Child Abuse is the most sickening and creepiest that happened to any adult or children.

Seth Green is one of the most creative people in Hollywood. For like ten years Every single time I found something else I loved I would find Seth green was a part of the project. I LOVE him and can’t wait to see what else he does. Great job on the podcast also. It’s so nice to see so many people who were huge during my formative years.

Wil Wheaton talks about how he and others in a film as a child were exploited. Not sexually, but bullied by adults into dangerous situations on set. Don't know if there are laws or regulations to keep an guardian on set with them now, if not there should be, and I do think that guardian should be compensated for that time.

I wanna support you, and do support you, been loving your podcast. I Love Seth Green, this would be great to listen to while driving to work, but I work at home and it not being video format, I feel like im less focused compared to watching you and your guest interact with video. Just my thoughts, still wishing you the best and will keep supporting your channel
Let this German tell you that opening a bottle with a lighter is acually one of the easiest ways to do it without a bottle opener. Now, opening a bottle with e.g. a newspaper, a park bench or a bicycle is a little bit trickier, but the trick is to not use your finger as the fulcrum but the side of your knuckle, then it doesn't hurt at all.
That was a great conversation. I've been a life-long fan of SG, and I've always known he was smart, but damn that dude is hyper-intelligent. I'm so much more of a fan for having heard this now.

In other news loved this interview with Seth. Super laid back and really informative. I think I first remember seeing Seth in X-Files, though The Italian Job and Without a Paddle will always hold a special place in my heart.

Any film\Video work seems like an extravert's dream. My wife is a make-up artist and works in the business. It uniquely suits her personality. There're always more people to meet and you don't see such a variety anywhere except maybe during high school.
I don't understand why there are people who aren't convinced by just the audio on Katee's podcast.
The essence of podcasts is the audio, that's how all this started.
The people who added the audio were only to generate views.

I'm pretty sure it's because it's a way through, did you ever read those documents? Or even scan them? If you haven't, you probably should.

Never let them Make you use an app for what can be done through a browser.. That's how this kind of BS keeps going that way.
Try brave for chromium, if that's your thing, and it will have a background play option, just make sure you use the desktop site. Firefox has the desktop plug-in capabilities on mobile, but it's a little jankier, and if you don't want to do all that, totally understand.. pretty much every browser but Chrome, for some strange mysterious reason.
It's a better viewing and listening experience in most cases... I'll be it with some aspect ratio issues sometimes, Firefox gets rid of those issues if you use a plug-in like improved CZcams, which just lets you customize the site and set everything you want as a parameter. From how the screen is laid out, to the resolution that it defaults, it's pretty awesome actually to finally do things like get rid of the shorts showing up in the feed and what have you...
But if you just want to turn the screen off, all you need is brave, and there's a good chance for April just work as well depending on what your phone is.. But yeah.. never use the app.. it's actually never going to be the good way to do anything, although sometimes it's the only way sadly, and that's the way they want it...
But they're not going to put the effort into that app either, and CZcams is one of the better examples of how garbage the mobile site and the mobile app is by comparison to what they offer on desktop, which has legacy for functionality for when they were actually trying.
I would say there's also maybe a thing about certain interruptions but, honestly that's on them for continuously making the environment they wish for their content to be consumed in as hostile as possible.

I loved this whole episode. That story Seth told about the conversation he had when he was 14 though, Jesus Christ. I honestly could not stop thinking about that for several hours, and how a grown man would even talk to a 14 year old like that. I don’t know why I’m at all surprised, though, people are terrible. Guess I’m just naive

I feel like I should provide some honest feedback since I almost want to listen to Seth, but audio only just doesn't do it for me. Just want to let it be known that I have no interest in podcasts in long format for guests I'm not a HUGE mega fan of(not Seth, no offence, like him a lot, but for me personally he's not on that MUST HEAR EVER INTERVIEW kind of level). I also have only limited interest in audio only podcasts for guests I am a huge fan of. On the other side, I'll watch video clips of Conan's podcast every day, but I still only listen to certain full audio only episodes of of "Conan O Brien Needs A Friend" in the shower only if I have the TIME for a long shower, or if I can't sleep, which are rare. So even my favorite podcasts I don't listen to audio only much. My point is that I'm just a visual person. Unless I'm closing my eyes in bed but listening, trying to get rest, or doing something else essential to life(showering) while half listening, my eyes just get bored. I'll watch the most interesting pasts of full episode video podcasts till it gets into subjects I don't find interesting. I'd watch 3-4 video clips of this interview.
