Its not just animation. The pilot for All In The Family back in the day has Edith having a more sarcastic tone than dingbat like. Another voice change is when Melissa Rauch first appeared on TBBT, she didn’t have the high pitch nasal tone yet!
I was disappointed that they didn’t let her start speaking only to interrupt her with “Shut up, Meg!”

Definitely noticeable. Part of it’s is him trying to be funny. But he might have a movie coming up where he plays a character with an accent. I have no proof it’s just an idea.

How great was to see these four people who continue to entertain us talking about an animated show after 25 years. Seth MacFarlane is my one and only favourite voice actor.
I appreciate how they are very comfortable going back and forth with the banter after all these years. You learn to appreciate these things when that's not always the case :)

I hope in one of these interviews they do for the 25th anniversary, they touch on Seth’s love for movie musicals and theater. Some of his best episodes like “Road To” series are so well done. Especially Road to the North Pole.

Yes, that is his natural speaking voice. For his roles in Buffy, Austin Powers, etc. he put on an accent.

The first time I saw that was on vacation in a hotel 6 on a rainy fall night. It’s one of my favorite episodes because of that experience.

Been watching family since I was about 5 or 6 years old every night at 11 o clock on adult swim I’m 22 now and I feel like so much of my humor involves these actors! It’s crazy to me a show that I thought I just liked to watch played such an influential role in my life , remembering how dirty my mind was compared to everyone else in 5th grade had to be my favorite part😂
Just realized Seth Green & McFarlane have the same first name.
And both of their mothers are named Martha too!

I don’t think people realize how much of MadTV was in Family Guy. Not just the early days. Obviously we have Alex, but Phil (the judge, Ollie Williams, others) and Nicole have been through it! Nicole’s been in far more hit parts these days after Muriel Goldman was killed off, but I LOVE TACKOS!
I came to watch the full video from a clip laughing then I felt like a person in a room with them, not knowing if I’m just imaging the underlying tones and tension 😅😅
And Then There Were Fewer is also my favorite episode. It's a comfort episode I had on replay a lot.
