are all these clips form this pride month?
So not sure if you know that you were hitting a little close to home on that Michael Knowles joke.... He did a gay sex scene back before he gave up his acting career to go join the other desperate to be in Hollywood grifters at the DW.
Such terrible quality earbuds. Truly.
Thank you for this ☺ ♥
I wish you said something about how the christian community basically caused the gay community to orient their resistance around the concept of pride ..
For about as long as the church has had a formative influence on western culture, they've pushed an anti-gay agenda through the use of shame.. what is the antithesis of shame? Pride.. yea?
It's irritating how they argue that the origins of this movement are solely based in depravity.. like they have no clue at all where this all actually came from and how they only have themselves to blame due to pushing these ppl underground through murder and ostracization..

Regarding the “gay people can’t do war/ are cowardly” idea:
During the occupation of the Netherlands there was a gay artist and writer named Willem Arondeus who was part of the Dutch resistance against the Nazis. He participated in a bombing of the public records office to hinder Nazi efforts to identify and find Jewish people. Tragically, he was caught and interrogated, ultimately taking full blame for the bombing in order to save others from execution.
Before his execution he made it known that both he and two other men in the group were gay and told a friend to, “Tell people that homosexuals are not cowards.”
Never knew where this idea that gay people are cowards took root. We are cowards yet somehow also terrifying abominations to christians. They should make up their mind on if we are weak or the absolute most destructive force the world has ever seen.

😂lol yeah, the cognitive dissonance is astounding. They’re really like, “my first amendment right to free speech is being infringed on when I can’t use slurs or talk about oppressing gay people!” And then in the same breath, be like, “someone make the gay people stop normalizing being gay in the media and in schools or marching for marriage and gender equality!” Because only they’re allowed to teach their heteronormative gender ideology to our poor children, apparently.
They’ll talk about how oversensitive we are while giving a speech about how sensitive they are to LGBTQ+ people existing, or the social movement for freedom and equality, and how bad they felt for“being canceled” for spreading misinformation about or belittling other people within minority populations and sh!t like that. SMH 🤦🏾♂️ they’re full of so many contradictions that the list is longer than my arm!
Already the Founding Fathers fled from religious persecution in England, where they weren't allowed to prevent _others_ from celebrating Christmas.
"For the preventing of disorders, arising in several places within this jurisdiction by reason of some still observing such festivals as were superstitiously kept in other communities, to the great dishonour of God and offense of others. It is therefore ordered by this court and the authority thereof that whosoever shall be found observing any such day as Christmas or the like -- either by forbearing labour, feasting or any other way, upon any such account as aforesaid, every such person so offending shall pay for every such offense five shilling as a fine to the county. Massachusetts Bay Colony, 1659."
PS: To this day, the roles of Christmas (de facto the major Christian holiday in Europe although theoretically Easter should be more important) and Thanksgiving (minor Christian holiday primarily of interest to farmers and rural communities) are reversed in the US.
God gave us free will for good and for worse, and it’s mentioned probably more than 60 times in the Bible but even then, Christians can’t seem to wrap their heads around the fact that sometimes some of us don’t think like them and that some people have a different form of religion. Boo hoo.

Funny enough, many people don't like to adopt. Although it's known that LGBTQ community do foster children and take care of the kids in their ranks ; they prefer to have their own kids.

I get an eternity in paradise. A perfect new body. A perfect soul. Set back to a pristine state by the creator of the universe who had me in mind when he created!!!!

I don't even support pride month. Shut up. Nobody cares whi you are attracted to or what you do with your free time.
Even though their so called holy book says to do the exact opposite in very direct and explicit terms.
Nothing more prideful than confidently telling millions of people that they're wrong for being who they are. Just like any transphobe, they're the poster children for biblical pride!
Yeah, seems pretty prideful to assume you know better than a deity that consistently makes gay and trans people (though you could rag on God a bit for issuing the wrong body to trans people in the first place but hey, nobody’s perfect 🤷♀️)

Ok, so maybe religious people should have a humility month to counter pride month. In that month, they would realize how petty they are about pride month.
Yes, one month where they admit they might be wrong.
They are proud Christians 12 months of the year. Yeah, a humility month practicing Jesus teaching like love your neighbor, pray in private, show the other cheek, feed the hungry, sell your stuff and give to the poor, would do them a lot of good.
Excellent suggestion.
Isn’t lent kinda supposed to be humility month?
Omg I love that
That's what they are supposed to do during lent. Yet they proudly advertise ash crosses on their forehead on ash Wednesday to show allegiance to each other.

They still wear mixed fabric cloth and eat shellfish. Christian means picking what you like from the bible and following it, thinking that everyone else wil go to hell
Don’t some Christian denominations have kids memorize every part of the Bible even though it’s not useful for anything other than a party trick?
God promised to not commit the most evil act ever for a second time by giving us pretty colors in the sky. Sorry God, I'm gonna need more than that
A synonym for pride is ego. Is there any greater ego than claiming to Personally Know the "creator of the universe" sans speaking for one?
It's ridiculous for people to say that gay people can't be competent with military matters when Frederick the Great, one of the most famous kings/military commanders, was most likely gay.
Or Alexander who was indisputably bisexual
Have you heard of the Sacred Band of Thebes? The Greeks had a whole army of gay lovers because their love for each other meant they'd fight harder to protect each other.
They also forget the role Von Steuben played in our revolution.

They're just crybabies because they don't have a stranglehold on public discourse about social issues. Im not going to care about what a bunch of boring pretentious prudes have to say about society.
It's hilarious that religious people complain about public shaming. They are just mad that someone is using their tactics on them, with better reason.
If they're always being silenced, why do I constantly hear them crying about it?
Projection perhaps?

My mom told me this, I don't know where she got it. Maybe Answers in Genesis?
@@xenonsan3110I think the flood is just a myth explaining where rainbows came from. Like the tower of Babel being a myth to explain why people speak different languages. Genesis in general just tries to explain things about the world where it came from how were humans created.
@@castormajeur5557 true, the flood story isn't even unique. Many cultures have a myth that featured a supposed flood
@@xenonsan3110 exactly, and creation stories where humans were created from dust mud or water are common aswell. In greek mythology you have the pandora myth to explain why there is suffering, genesis also explains that but by saying Eve got deceived god got mad and they were kicked out of paradise. A lot of myths imply that there was a world or place without suffering first which is interesting and some of these cultures couldnt meet and influence eachother. i wondered in school when we had o interpret and compere the genesis story with greek mythology beginning why is the bible taken so seriously. Later i read the Enuma Elisz and the zoroastrian creation myth and it was so similar idk how people can still think their gods myth is definetly unique and take it literally. I just had an image of a fed-up gay dad telling a homophobe "Every time you complain about Pride, we're having another year of it" like they're a whining child.
And fear mongering children and their parents
Nobody makes good points when you try to reflect their words back at them and projects your fears and insecurities. There are no trans people, there is a huge influx of identity and illusion, literally making guys believe they are girls, and changing the definitions to fit their views on their identity. Satan in the bible refers to the Ego, the sense of self and individuality, your character and identity. that is exactly what Satan is, cause people let their identity and self image control their actions and lives, and this is what a Christian would call "Sold their soul to the devil". They get mad, they want revenge. Someone says something that goes against their personal view, they get offended. They are controlled by their own ego, and desires. This is the opposite of spirituality, this is the opposite of loving yourself or others. The LGBT movement doesn't exist to help some people have a voice and feel important, its being pushed hard by the government to distract us from the important things and to lower the birth rate. If we are all so obsessed with identity, then we cant focus on the problems in our society that the government benefits from. Pride is the first of the seven deadly sins. Pride is the opposite of being humble, and someone expressing pride is projecting their identity and desires onto everyone around them. Humbleness is the quality or state of being modest and lacking in pride or arrogance. Pride is(without religion) satanic, the negative, the opposition to a humble utopia society. I am not a liberal, i am not a Christian, i am not a conservative, i am a free-thinker that doesn't let propaganda or self perception cloud my view on reality. Humility and shame are not synonymous. It’s almost like maybe the word “Pride” might have slightly different meanings in various contexts. Interestingly, the rainbow represents a bridge in a _lot_ of religious and cultural traditions. It's part of the Japanese creation myth of Izanami and Izanagi. It's also general spiritual bridge in a bunch of traditions.
In other traditions, the rainbow is personified as a deity, such as Iris, the messenger goddess of the rainbow in ancient Greek mythology.
