These classes are far more beautiful/difficult than most choreography I see in theaters. It is such a pleasure to watch this... I would pay tickets only to see this live. Better than what some ballet companies show on stage... God bless Russia, so far ahead in ballet... what a dream of a ballet teacher and ballet class...

Какие они красивые,смотрю не насмотрюсь на них, спасибо большое что снимете такие интересные видео😍😍😍Когда была маленькая,тоже на них смотрела не отрываясь, хотела тоже стать балериной но узнав как это сложно судьба не позволила мне стать ею,может это к лучшему,у меня хоть и ДЦП малая часть,хожу нормально но равновесие не совсем хорошее конечно но всё же хотелось бы чисто для себя заниматься балетом но не знаю,можно ли мне:)

У меня потрясающие результаты. Впервые за много лет я двигаю части своего тела только своим умом!Сначала я подумал, что они неподвижны. Но с месяцами практики и некоторой ручной манипуляции вначале вы можете !! воссоздать эти нейронные пути или, по крайней мере, разбудить их!

Спасибо за видео. Дочери 9 лет, хочет стать балериной, но ее не взяли даже на ПО, чему я, возможно, и рада: уж очень трудный хлеб в балете. Но глядя на этих прекрасных девушек невозможно не восхититься. Видели их в замечательном выпускном в КД и знаю, что сейчас они уже танцуют балеринские партии. Здоровья и успехов и Вам, и девочкам.
Этот труд тяжёл, но и сладок. Есть и минусы , как и в любой другой работе

Just curious, Why are the faces blurred? It spoils the video so much. The port de bras and epaulment are lost .

@Pearlaceous - yes, does anybody know where Maria Petukhova is now? She was in Tallin for a year, but she is no longer there. Nobody seems to know where she is. There is a clip on her Instagram from 10 weeks ago with her doing solo, but it only says "world ballet day" and doesn't mention the theater.

She's not going to the academy anymore. She was expelled a couple of years ago - professorial unfitness. Changes in the configuration.

А не будет преступлением сказать, что мне уроки Татьяны Александровны Удаленковой намного больше нравятся! Показухи меньше, а уроки насыщеннее, динамичнее и гармоничнее. Хотя на вкус и цвет, как говорится, товарища нет.
I checked your site, Ilya, and now see who you are. Great respect for the work you both do. So, I deleted my comment. Lovely to watch this video when Maria Khoreva was in her sixth year. Would be great to have someone like you teaching adults in the West as impeccably as you do in Moscow.
Thank you. Someone reported to CZcams officials and I already collected papers from Academy. Going to send it to CZcams today. Mostly important, ACADEMY asked me to publish this ballet class to promote the teacher.

Hope you can make a video that will help adult ballerina to articulate more of the toes and feet while doing tendu.
I think you might have a difficult time finding that kind of technique in videos as advanced as this. It has seemed to me for some time that once students/dancers get to a particular point in their training the emphasis is on the finished line in tendu and the clean close to fifth rather than articulation through the foot in tendu as is trained in less advanced levels. Children's ballet is the best place to find the information you're looking for. (that's not intended to sound in the least derogatory, it just happens to be where that technique is taught)

This channel is by far the best for adult beginners or re- starters. Salty has a very good Vaganova-trained Russian teacher, and her technique advise is basically the Russian school translated

I'm genuinely and respectfully curious about the allegro section of the class. The students sometimes seemed to be struggling with the level of difficulty, which is no critique of the students or of the teacher at all; of course the students must be challenged in to grow. I'm just wondering about it in this instance because everything I've seen about Russian ballet class is how paced classes seem to be and how much emphasis there is on having time to find placement and build strength. Here, the students seem pushed that bit further out of their depth and wouldn't there be a concern that their technique would become undermined and they would develop faults by trying to push so hard? Please don't anyone get insulted. I'm just interested in the methodology and how it changes as the students get older.
just me! How do you get the impression that they are struggling? Of course there were some wobbles here and there, but isn’t that just a random everyday class? I‘d say that these girls are all at the highest level, but if they make little mistakes here and there, it doesn‘t mean that they are not ready for these combinations. What do you think? Maybe they are just learning these combinations/choreo in preparation for the exam, and they still need to focus on the steps and can’t execute everything perfectly for that reason. I think they are all at the absolute top level
This is a state exam, they MUST show certain steps that are in the syllabus for the corresponding year; they don't have other chance.
Такие дети , которые и занимаются хотя бы начальным вариантом балета , и не будут иметь искривление позвоночника ибо вы выпускаете с ваших школ учащихся , у которых это самое искривление встречается очень часто ... И такое исправит только балет , но никак и не физкультура ! Теперь вам понятно почему должен быть танцевальный станок и в школе ?!!

@@smartballet Эта девочка купила авторские права на съемку и есть официальный юридический Документ, подписанный Ректором АРБ?) а также оплатила свое право сниматься в этом видео? это встречные к ней вопросы. С такой позицией, как у неё, ей надо было отказаться от участия в данной съемке, и неважно, что в этом случае она могла бы и лишиться диплома АРБ, если ей важнее принцип авторства. Иначе получается двойная бухгалтерия.
Зачем выкладывать видео, где все заретушировано? Ни позиций рук не рассмотреть, ни положений корпуса. Все замазано. Чего испугались? Разглашения личных данных? Тогда не надо. Сколько видео уроков АРБ в Интернете смотрела - такого еще не было.
Ретушь пришлось потом сделать из-за Хорёвой, подавшей неоднократно жалобы на CZcams

This is an old video of a Lyudmila Kovaleva sixth-year class at the Vaganova Academy. Maria Khoreva (in the centre - first group) is already a First Soloist at the Mariinsky Ballet.

allegro with pointe shoes is a terrible idea. It is sad that VA tries to adopt America's bad habbits.
I'm not an expert but I'm surprised at your opinion. Once dancers go onstage ALL the allegro is done in pointe shoes. Why, at this advanced stage in training, should it not be practiced?
@@justme9818 Well, I am an expert and allegro exercises are not like a choreography, they are composed from different allegro steps that must be studied in precision in class, something that is not done if wearing Pointe shoes.
Vaganova has a tradition in that, and all her past graduates didn't wear Pointe shoes in allegro and yet they were brilliant in jumps on stage, like Terekhova for example.
This now is only a trend, nothing more.

When I said I wasn't an expert I simply meant I don't work at a professional level. I know what allegro is and why it's practised. On one hand the Allegro seemed the least polished section of the class to me and you may have a valid point. On the other hand I've never heard of a trend developing within a school of ballet for no reason at all and I've never seen or heard anything that would suggest to me that a single Russian would ever consider adopting foreign training practices. The teacher wasn't young and would have decades of experience. -There's got to be some rationale behind it. - even if you do disagree so strongly.
@@justme9818 The trend comes from the director of the school, who is quite young, the teacher must follow if she wants to remain there. If you watch old videos of the vaganova classes, you can realize what I say about allegro. They had a big section for allegro and THEN a big section for pointe work.
If they had it wrong for so many decades, why would they change it only just now? It is obvious that the change of the direction brought those unnecessary changes.
I say I am an expert because I work professionally in ballet. Cheers!
