I played this a few days ago. It's a lot of fun and I'm surprised it took this long for a bomberman-esque battle royal to come out.

I get the feeling my last few comments on NL videos have gotten hearts for all the wrong reasons because I'm trash at phrasing things... I want to clarify right here, right now, that I REALLY love the direction the channel is headed, the fervor with which NL is out here making videos, and even when he makes mistakes in the games or when he plays things that get trope-y in uncommon but still trope-y ways, I am living for it. I love the channel, and the man is doing his best for us. Everytime I laugh at him messing up it comes from a place of love and deep appreciation for the work he does. Back before I had a channel with which to comment and like videos, I watched NL play Super Meat Boy. I watched him play Flash Isaac for a bit. I followed along with a cursory view of what he was up to and while I only drop by every now and again I greatly enjoy all that the Egg does for us. Sorry if I've sounded less than optimal the last couple times, NL, you're one of the greats. Never stop being you. Give 'em Hell!

Game design: Chew The Scenery!
Battle Royale where everyone starts as a small Victorian girl. You develop your gameplay by finding tools and then breaking up 3 types of resources: minerals (the land itself), vegetation (trees and plants), and animals (other little victorian girls).
As you gain resources, you grow larger and larger on the limited field. Instead of a shrinking border. As you get closer to medium size, your little girl starts turning more and more into foliage. Speed slows down but your ability to break minerals and other plants increases vastly.
As your size reaches large, your plant girl becomes more and more mineral. Speed slows further, and now you are more a part of the playing field new spawns are running around on.
Battle occurs when your Victorian girl touches something on her own level. The smaller girl enters into a puzzle platforming maze level that you have built between matches, populated using various traps and monsters that you have earned gathering resources in previous games. Different platforming features are made with crafting recipes out of gathered animal vegetable and minerals, plus special rare gems, fruit, and beasties.
If you enter into and successfully navigate another girl's level, you reap a portion of her size and current game's gathered resources, she shrinks accordingly and you grow larger.
The game can end if someone reaches Max size... or if time runs out, whoever is largest wins.
Just thought it was a fun idea for a non-combat oriented but still competitive BR.
Elevator pitch: Agar.io meets the Castle Doctrine with a twist of Don't Starve.
Wouldnt mind seeing a series of this honestly, game looks pretty fun.
