This recipe is basically like the one I make, I will try your recipe and see if it's different. So bomb, I love pot roast. The mashed potatoes seem fatty/heavy but I imagine they are delicious just judging by the ingredients. Thanks for sharing, can't wait to make it. I live making oxtails in a similar fashion. The wine sauce is everything and the delicious tender fall off the bone meat.

i notice when i use "chunky" seasoning...it tends to scorch...i use webers chicago steak seasoning and it comes chuncky like the one you used...i put the seasoning in a pepper grinder (or you can blitz it in a fp).. to a fine grind...hardly any scorching, if at all...
