Gallo
Bullied by Bretons for being "too French"
Bullied by French for being "not enough French"
i a core ben du monde a caozë galo asteur, merci beleben Andy
Gallo is interesting! :0
one of the two languages of Brittany with breton, thank you !
🌷🍻🍹🎸👍💙🫂
The Russian language has borrowed both "manteau" and "paltaod" though they now mean slighly different things and the latter is used much more often.
In Turkish we also borrowed both of them but both of them remain in common use. Manteau (manto) is used for women's wear whereas paltaod (palto) is used for men's wear.
@@Nwk843The whole world ripped the Serbian word for Vampire : "Vampir/Вампир" so every nation is a word-ripper 😎.
Can you make a video of Spanish with Iberian it’ll be great and also since I make my own languages sometimes
Can we know who did the Gallo part ? I really want to hear more from this person
Nice dilalect.
:o
Prays for France 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Thank you.
Some of the Gallo pronounciations (esp the number huit) sound like Québécois
I’ve heard that a lot of the French-Canadians came from Brittany. When I tried to look up exact numbers, it seemed like an actually very small percentage of them were from that area, though, so I’m not sure.
Gallo does sound like "Gaulish' in the name".
Who speaks Gallo? Is it a romance language?
It's a Romance language with a lot of Breton influence and is spoken today in the Eastern part of Brittany
@@Nwk843
does it also has Gaulish i fluence?
@@dalubwikaan161yes, it’s a Gallo Romance language, which is to say it comes from the branch of Latin which was heavily influenced by Gaulish, as do languages like French Arpitan or Lombard; it’s extra Celtic influence when compared to it’s closest relatives however ia due to Breton not Gaulish (which was long extinct by the time Gallo diverged from other Gallo Romance languages); also yes the names are confusing, but Gallo in Gallo romance refers to Gaulish, whereas the name of the gallo language actually comes from a Breton word meaning foreigner, so although they are spelled and pronounced the same in English they are actually not the same word

Quests for ya🥂🥂🥂
@@tchop6839👍
Gallo and Breton have probably same pronunciations than French.
No
third
Pardon mon cul, but Gallo sounds Scottish.
@@Nwk843 Hmm, I would like to hear an example.
Gallo = Jeanne d'Arc era French 😇
No, Gallo is the romance dialect of britanny
@@lunarc8141 No it's not
@@corentinvillereal6975It literally is
no
@@corentinvillereal6975that’s literally what it is though, it’s not an older version of French it’s a local Latin language spoken in Armorica; Jeanne D’Arc would have spoken Lorrain, another local Latin language spoken in her home region Lorraine, as a native language
