I’m originally from Alexandria, Egypt. When I was young one of my best friends was a kid from Palestine whom lost all his family due to the war. His name was Ali. That was 40 years ago! Since then I’ve been fortunate enough to travel all over the world for work and now I live in Hawaii. Watching this video put tears in my eyes, right from the moment the host Omar walking down the street said “Sabah Ilkher” translate to “Good Morning” the reason is it just breaks my heart that in this age and time people are still hating on each other because race or religion or what ever. When it comes down to it most people just want to live a good life and peaceful life, all over the world. People should just live and let live, it’s much nicer to share culture and food then to hate on it. Much respect to Mark Weins for going to these places and sharing these videos from all over the world. We use plastic because it infuses nice organic flavors and nutrients into the chicken and we always use toxic free plastic to be on the safer side. We don't put the big plate with 10 chickens on the table, because its boring we always use a tiny 8 inch ledge to place the chickens. Its lot of fun when the chickens ends up in the neighbors back yard.

Love your content, been watching you for a while and didn't realize I wasn't subscribed. No longer the case! As a Palestinian, I am eternally grateful for your genuine take on your experience, calling it Palestine, and showing such a beautiful side that most people never see of the Palestinian people.
We use plastic because it infuses nice organic flavors and nutrients into the chicken and we always use toxic free plastic to be on the safer side. We don't put the big plate with 10 chickens on the table, because its boring we always use a tiny 8 inch ledge to place the chickens. Its lot of fun when the chickens ends up in the neighbors back yard.
I noticed a lot of emotions on your face when visiting the stable. That's such a sacred place, thanks for sharing this with us.

This video is now a priceless. Some of these places and people are quite possibly gone. So sad. I cried while I watched thinking about how welcoming and friendly everyone is to Mark while all along they are living under such extreme oppressions.

I totally agree with you. I have been very fortunate to visit the entirety of the Middle East & i had the best time ever! I will head back within the next 2 yrs & especially once this terrible & sad Coronavirus epidemic is fully over.
