השיר הזה יותר רלוונטי עם כל יום שעובר.
This song is more relevant with each day passing.

יאָ
There's actually an updated cover of this very song published around the 2008 crash. That piece is called "Marching Jobless Corps" they use the English first for modern lyrics with the same melody, then halfway through, they belt out the Yiddish.
As soon as I heard it o had a "hol' up" moment
The great power of the worker is best manifested by them sitting down and refusing to work. The world then stops turning.
^^
Workers in North America today seem to be rediscovering this truth.
Arbeitsamt lässt grüßen
:D
Das Erscheinungsjahr 1929 ist kein Zufall.
^^

“A free country” I think two big bearded Germans, a bald Russian lawyer, and a mustached Georgian helped make that
How appropriate!
^^
I don't know about you but I really like this music
^^
Master of time abello castle theme
This song is not about the desire to work but about the right to not work under conditions of exploitation
^^right

^^
Artistically great song----- unfortunately
accurate + still.needed
^^
Can relate to this song😂
^^
One, two, three, four, we are the unemployed, not heard for months in the Factory the hammer sound. they lie in cold, forgotten, the rust will eat them, let's walk around the alley, like important people, idling around, like important people idling around. One, two, three, four, we are the unemployed, without clothes, without a home, our bed is earth and mud, if someone still has something to eat, you ration every bite, water, like what the rich people do with wine, we pour into ourselves, we pour into ourselves.
^^
Jiddisch ist immer wieder lustig zu hören^^
Ist auch ne interessante Kultur gewesen, wenn man so sagen will.^^
Leider, nicht mehr.
The singer has a German accent and is pronouncing the words how they would be in German rather than Yiddish, or otherwise replacing certain words with their German cognates, so this isn't the most authentic recording of this song.
@@Bildsturmer A lot of the Jewish/Jiddish people was German or Austrian, by the way. So what makes you think of your idea and where you come from?
@@Bildsturmeryou dont know the history of jiddish(judisch) language,I love jiddish ,but the story of the song are very sad

^^
Yiddish written with German spelling is very strange to the eyes 🥴
Em a Polish Muslim but em just watching this song for cultural reasons.
^^
As a polish muslim, do you mean a Tatar person?? If yes, then I have many more questions about Tartar culture, if you wouldn't mind... (btw, I am an American)
Arbeitsamt gib Arbeit ich muss Shisha kaufen.
Mach Shisha auf.

The song is somehow covered into a CHinese love song a few years ago, called 偷星星的月亮
LOL! XD
@@ProfLiangZhu I might be the first or even only person to realize this, please give it a try and spread the word!
This is not German!
The language is Yiddish. The country of origin of the song is indeed Germany.
There is much more. See

For everyone who is intrested in learning yiddish I can recomment the newspaper "Forward" which got articles in yiddish. ^^
