I Regret Putting These in my Nissan 350z

  • The 350z has been dormant from the channel for a couple months now but today I uncovered it to talk a little bit about the NRG 6 point harnesses I used to have installed in the car as well as the NRG FRP-300 bucket seats. At the time the harnesses were a really cool and fun mod but as I got older I outgrew the difficulties of having them installed. This is a great video, especially for younger car enthusiasts who are infatuated with the interior aesthetics of performance cars. The whole point of these modifications is to sacrifice practicality and convenience for safety and performance. I’m planning on installing Sparcos in my ‘03 350z in the future because I plan to race it competitively at some point. For most of you who just want “the look” the farthest you should go on a street car are custom seats, preferably reclinable, and kept with the original seat belt.

You couldn’t have said it better! +1 on getting reclineable seats if you plan to change them, fixback seats get uncomfortable after 1-2 hours in the car.

Seats are good also for your back to sit straight up

After this video I will definitely NOT put racing seats, 6 point harness & a quick release steering wheel in my 2008 Nissan 350z HR. But I had a question about subframe bushings, would you happen to know anything about those?

Yes😅 if you have to change them just go solid. After you do that job once you’ll never want to do it again
