- Jewish students must not be harassed or intimidated, the Education Secretary has said after Oxford and Cambridge staff and students set up camps on their university campuses to protest against the war in Gaza.
Gillian Keegan believes the protests could add to a hostile atmosphere on campus and said “we will not stand by as Jewish students suffer”.

@@Aldaker_ plus accommodation food, books, travel, clothes, socialising, phone , utility bills, contingency money for emergency incase your laptop breaks etc, over a nine month period you can pay between 12 and 19 thousand on those, your living cost can be anything from 1,350 a month to 1,900 a month depending on where your studying, your looking at nearly 30 grand if your in London studying., Then there's if your child has to do a year of unpaid placement as part of the degree, like my daughter and your placement is in another country so depending on your degree your there four or five years , so your looking at 38,000 for four years tuition plus living costs and accommodation so if you say 15,000 a year living and accomodation 98,000 for four years if your at the higher end and having to pay more for accommodation at Cambridge or Oxford it could be 114,000 over the four years so if you had a few kids and, they all ended up going to uni and say your over the 60k household earnings bracket, so don't qualify for grants then it's not beyond the realm of possibility as a parent you could be forking out in the Hundred thousands for their education
