Toronto Ferry Co. Trillium

Trillium is a rare side wheel paddle boat built in 1910. Trillium is the only steam powered vessel in the fleet and only runs when large crowds warrant an extra ferry. We happened to be in Toronto on Canada Day 2023 and got a chance to ride the boat to Centre Island.

Awesome! Steam trains get a lot of love and attention on the internet. With how little there is, I think everyone just takes the PS Trillium for granted. I hope the city doesn't forget her.

Great to see this I used to work on the Waverley which has a very similar engine room but a triple rarher than double expansion. I’m guessing by the fact there are two telegraphs that Trillium has independent control of each paddle wheel? (Something Waverley does not have.)
