    Hello Zeto, very good explanation!
    I have a more mechanical question: What are the most common failures on APU, and how do you solve them?
    Thank you mate!

    Hello Tomaš, just found your channel yesterday and i find it very interesting! Thank you for sharing the good stuff! I have a question regarding the BCV and FCU….as the apu bleed is set on, i imagine the way it works is; the fuel control unit commands more fuel, adjusts the compressor intake and the bleed control valve opens fot the air to be connected to the pneumatic system. In what case does the bleed valve open in the oposite direction to let the air go out towards exhaust? Is it only to depresurise the apu pneumatics after the apu bleed pb is set to off or is there another reason for the way this system is constructed?
    Very much looking forward to more of your videos!! Thanks

    Why two igniters, do they spark in tandem? They are two for redundency so aircraft can take-off with no delay if one goes wrong, or any other reason like ignition efficiency. Thanks in advance!

    My question is why we get AFS:ELAC2 fault
    When APU is under MEL & BOTH (APU CTL & ECB) CBs are out?
    Eagerly waiting for answer as I've given it so much time but couldn't find a satisfying answer. Thank you (love your work) Aircraft: A320F

    • @zeto.r
      @zeto.r  Před 24 dny

      There is no connection to AFS from APU

    Explained very well, just have a question, how does the APU get fuel? Is there any suction pump there because fuel tasks are far from the APU?

    • @zeto.r
      @zeto.r  Před 18 dny

      It has its own dc powered pump for start and during normal ops it is supplied bu standard Boost pump

    I have a question: is the APU electrical output capacity reduced when bleed air is being used for an engine start?

    • @zeto.r
      @zeto.r  Před měsícem +1

      No not really, APU without bleed most of the time APU runs on 99% for fuel saving 😁 with bleed 100% and that 536hp is more than enough for everything
